This is so true, and it has to do with thé religion, trying do dominate by force.
I know that politices is one of thé main reason but Religion is thé first.

Théy succèedin thé North because they are majority. Religion has alot to play in thé Lifestyle of thèse Northaners.

In Nigeria it takes less time to get e-passport, but a place like the UK it takes longer time, there are many Nigerians in the UK and only one embassy.
These dubious agents promising to do it in a day ARE PART of the problem, they bribe immigration officers to get it done quickly while pple who are not ready to bribe have to wait a longer time while the officials make their money through the backdoor.

Bribing and corruption is our drinking water, too bad!!!!!

I weak for this announcement ooo, how Côme we find it difficult to obtain thé E-passport legally from thé embassies and some ppl out they CAN issue it in just a day without stress? Corruption Will never end in Nigeria!

@mankenny, so they don't accept MasterCard and they didnd specifiy it in their website? No wonder I wasted all my time without success when I was trying to apply for pasport.

Really? Well if u say so, I just don't want to run round after a long journey. I ve always reserved hotel each time I go home, so I prefare.

I ve contacted the motel Benin plaza, i was shocked at what they told me they told me that if i ve to reservation a room it will not be guaranteed because accomodation can be given to other guest and fund will not be refund. And also, while in the hotel, room rate can change without notice. I think this is not fare, i ve never noticed thid kind of rules in hotels i ve used both in 9ja and Europe. Has any1 fall victim to this befor?

At Poster, it surprised me when i finish reading u, i think i also faced thé same problem hère in France.
But My case was that My passport is still valid but they asked me to do thé new E-Passport as i am planing to go to Nigeria.
My payment was refused several Times. When i called thé Embassy yo explain they were very rude, madam keep trying we cant help u. I was like a S"""t but a bit used to them. I ve gave up thé passport issue. It's so frustrating.
I advice u follow Markenny's advice.

@topic, u ve to know that u ve applied in one of the most tight and difficult country (FRANCE)
I am a Nigerian by birth, a French by naturalisation.
My hubby is French, last yr we sent an invitation to my brother, we ve all necessery doc done and even took his health insurrance over here, after everything was done my brother was refuse.
We called the Embassy there in Nja, they told us that the decision to issue invitation letter is from a city called NANTE. They gave us their phone number, we called to know the reason. They said they cannot relate the reasons to us, it was very annoying. They sid we should reappeal, but it's just too stressful. I didn't do it.
AThey re very stingy with their visa, I ve got three friends with same problem as me refuser even when there enough fund to care for the invited. I hope ur appeal will be granted, good lucky.
