This isn't necessary because whether you use a matriculation/convocation gown or not a typical Nigerian university will force you to pay for it. If you don't pay,you won't graduate. So,in the end you're just deceiving yourself.

In the end, I didn't pay the N500 and I graduated.

If na me, I go wear the gown go church, take pictures with all my Deacons and elders, then use it to do a short time work at any muddy fish pond I see...

I remember when they asked us to pay N500 for the useless matric gown that can suffocate a full grown man within minutes, I refused to pay, not because I don't have the money, but because I can't in my right senses fork out N500 for such suicidal gown.

So I went to an Anglican Church close to my hostel and as luck would have it, their officiating gown is same color with our matric gown. I plead with the Choir director, and he reluctantly lend me one to return after use.

2010 matric was fun at AAU.

It won't come as a surprise to me that the evil Aisha Mohammed got married at the tender age of 12...

This underaged marriage lifestyle predominantly practiced in the Northern region has brought more harm than good.
