Gbenga Daniel Considering To Join Apc



Just hours after resigning from PDP, Former Governor of Ogun State and Director-General of the Atiku Campaign Organisation, Gbenga Daniel, says he is considering a request by his supporters that he should lead them to the All Progressives Congress.

Daniel, who was ruled Ogun State from 1999 to 2007, said this on Sunday, one day after he announced his resignation from PDP and retirement from partisan politics.

“You know that this process is about leading people and what we have done today is to call all of our people across the length and breathe of the state to subject our decision to a kind of plebiscite and, of course, you have seen what they have said
“Basically, they said, well, they agree that I could resign from PDP. They said I must lead them to APC and they said I cannot retire from politics. That is the summary of what I heard and we have to now take a look at it.” he said

Breaking News: Many Pupils Feared Dead As School Building Collapses In Lagos


Many primary school pupils were feared dead on Wednesday after a three-storeyed building at Ita Faji, Lagos Island, collapsed around 10am, Punch Metro reports.

The school was said to be on the last floor.

A resident of the area, Prince Adams, who alerted our correspondent to the incident on the telephone, said no fewer than 10 pupils had been removed from the rubble so far.

“It is terrible. Parents are crying. I can’t withstand the gorry sight,” he added.
According to Punch Metro, cries were heard on the background.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Kehinde Adebayo, confirmed the collapse, adding that emergency officials were already on ground.

“We are recruiting”- NNPC confirms


The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation ( NNPC) says it has opened its portal for recruitment of fresh graduates and experienced professionals into the system.

Mr Ndu Ughamadu, its Group General Manager, (Public Affairs Division), confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Wednesday.

He said that the portal for the recruitment was opened on Wednesday.

“The portal was opened today and I have received hundreds of inquiries weather it is correct or not.
” We are going to recruit people from different engineering fields , especially fresh graduates and equally in the administrative areas,” he said

Ughamadu said that recruitment would be in three categories of fresh graduates, senior officers/ supervisory cadre and managerial cadre.

See The Seven Nigerian States Where The Governorship Election Will Not Hold Today



The governorship election scheduled to hold in all the Nigerian states today will not hold in seven states.’

The affected states, Anambra, Bayelsa, Edo, Ekiti, Kogi, Ondo and Osun, will not be participating because their governorship elections held at different times.

This was mainly due to court judgments that nullified the elections of their governors at different times in the past.

However, the State Houses of Assembly elections will be conducted in all the 36 states. The FCT will not witness both elections because it is run by a minister, who is appointed by the President, with laws made by the National Assembly.

But Saturday will witness election of new chairmen and councillors in the six Area Councils of the territory, namely Abaji, Abuja Municipal, Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kuje and Kwali.

Bobrisky has shared screenshots of credit alerts he received in one day while asking his followers if they’ve made that much in their 20s.

According to the unapologetic crossdresser, his goal is to make at least ?1 million daily and he meets his target most times.

He went on to advise his followers to concentrate on making money rather than hating on him.

Late Baby Beniah’s father gives N25m out of the N70m Nigerians donated to charity


The father of little baby Beniah, Monday Agoboye, has donated N25 million out of the N70 million Nigerians donated for late Benaiah who was born with multiple holes in his heart and needed surgery.

Recall that the late baby Beniah made news in January after his father went public to solicit for N15 million which was to be used for the operation. However, Nigerians raised over N70 million for the baby. Sadly, Baby Beniah died on February 15th while he was being taken to a Dubai-based hospital.

Owner of KBK online, a Non-Governmental Organization that helped raise money for baby Beiah, just gave an update on his IG page. He wrote
”Here are the details
:
*The said amount will be moved into a different account.(they’ve done that)
*At least five people will benefit from this gesture
*Most of them must be children .
*One of them must be a heart surgery patient in honor of Beniah. They agreed to this.
In fact they already paid for one heart surgery. The beneficiary is Desire (@whitesugarconcept ) daughter. I will be flying her to India this month
*They are setting up Beniahs foundation as we speak
*They will designate 2 members of the family to be in charge of funds.

*We will send a lot of people on the surgery queue to them.

“I Once Breastfed My Nephew” – Iyabo Ojo Reveals




Popular Nollywood filmmaker and actor, Iyabo Ojo shares a cute photo of her nephew, brother’s son as she celebrates his matriculation.

Iyabo wrote about how she once breastfed Mathew when his mum’s breast refused to produce milk.

She wrote:
“This handsome dude is my nephew, my brother’s son…. but I call him my son because we share a mother & son relationship. I try not to steal the spot from his biological mum but today I just have to let you all know that I don’t have two kids but many.

My heart is filled with so much emotions, memories & above all gratitude to God. His mum had him 17 and a half years ago, at first he wouldn’t latch, when he did the mum’s breast refused to produce milk. We bought different types of milk but he kept throwing up.

It became obvious that he’s lost significant weight in two weeks. At this point, I decided to take charge, told the mum my intention and seek consent. He was brought to my house and I started breastfeeding him. (Priscy was six months old and still breastfeeding).

Of course aunty Priscilla @its.priscy couldn’t understand why mum was sharing her booby �, she would hit, pinch and cry her eyes out each time I breastfed Mathew.

A lot happened after and Mathew continued to stay with me. It’s not been easy solely raising them all but today seeing Matthew and attending his matriculation, I feel blessed and happy that I got the parenting skills right.

Yes, I have failed in different ways but God has been so faithful to me and my household. The tears wouldn’t stop…. oh no, they are that of joy and fulfilment. @matto_xo I have witnessed today, may I witness your graduation and many more, please face your studies & never forget to always put God 1st, I love you & the rest of you….. congratulations son…….
