A man was reportedly swept away by flood in Abule Egba area of Lagos State.

HGS Media Plus reports that the incident happened on Monday morning, September 19 after a downpour of rain.

According to an eyewitness, the man was covered by the flood but he managed to bring out his hand to ask for help.

They tried to help the man but to no avail.

"The flood must have been sweeping him from a different location because it was just his hand that we saw inside gutter."

"He was waving for help and we tried to pull him out but we couldn’t."

I think debris hacked him down and it was slippery and the force of the water was just too much.”

A herbalist Identified as Ismail Adewuyi has been arrested by the Nigeria Hunter and Forest Security Service in Osun State.

The 28-year-old suspect was on arrested on Saturday, September 17 at the Mushin Cemetery, Oke Yidi, in Ede, Osun State.

It was gathered that the suspect was armed with charms when he entered the cemetery in the early hours of Sunday and exhumed a female corpse.

He then cut off the head and removed the intestines.

Unfortunately, a member of the hunters service spotted the suspect and accosted him while he was trying to run away.

The suspect has been handed over to the police for investigation.

Two young men has been arrested by the Adamawa state police command for murdering an 85-year-old man, HGS Media Plus report.

The suspects are identified as Gayawan Danzaria aged 22 and Thankgod Obadia aged 18 both from Shimba in Dumne Development Area, Song Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that the suspects were contracted by a woman to murder the deceased who she accused of being a wizard and casting a spell on her son.

The suspects was said to have charged the woman N5000 to do the job but the woman paid N2000 to pay the balance of N3000 when the job is done.

It was gathered that the suspects stormed the deceased house at 10:000am with an axe and hit him mercilessly on his forehead killing him on the spot.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said that the suspects are now in police custody and that efforts are being made to apprehend the woman who contracted them.

Police Arrest 2 Members Of Notorious One Chance Gang In Lagos

The Lagos State Police has arrested two members of a notorious one change gang along Funsho Williams Avenue.

The suspects identified as Usman Hussani, aged 21, and Ebuka Ukechukwu, aged 25, were arrested by operatives attached to Surulere Division following a distress call from a victim who was robbed of his phone and other valuables.

2 mobile phones, 2 SIMcards, one Sterling Bank ATM card, one UBA cheque booklet belonging to one Ugochukwu and brand new tricycle with registration number LSD 360 QN used by the suspect were recovered them.

The Lagos police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin who comfirmed the arrest said the suspects will be arraigned once investigations are concluded.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc encouraged residents to always remain vigilant and keen-eyed, especially when boarding public vehicles.

Cameroonian Woman Kills Sister-In-Law, Chops Her Body For Money Ritual (Graphics Photos)

One Marie France Mbea, a 57-year-old Cameroonian woman has been arrested by the Police for allegedly killing her sister-in-in-law and choping off her body.

HGS Media Plus gathered that the woman carried out the act on Sunday night in a hotel in Biyem Assi area of Yaounde in the country.

The suspect was intercepted and arrested on Monday, August 22, 2022 with the body of the victim stuffed in a suitcase while she was about leaving the hotel.

Upon interrogation, the suspect said she was told by an unknown man on the phone to kill her sister-in-law in exchange for wealth

She said she used a beer bottle to hit the victim on her head and then slip her throat.

She is said to have returned to the hotel with a machete and a Valise. She then chopped the body into pieces and bundled them in a bag.

Unfortunately, management got suspicious after seeing her carrying a bag too heavy for her.

She comfessed that the body parts were to be given to a man in exchange for wealth.

The suspect is currently being interrogated at police headquarters in Yaounde.

One Bravo who was said to have been mising for five days has been found dead in Bayelsa State.

The body of the deceased was found on Friday August 12.

A military officer identified as Goodluck Sambo said the deceased was last seen on August 7, 2022.

His body has been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, (FMC) Yenagoa mortuary.

"This is to inform all my friends and family and all the personnel that my birthday will not hold again tomorrow. A friend, brother, colleague who missed on Sunday was found dead today. His corpse is deposited in FMC mortuary yenagoa Bayelsa state. And I have to give him the last respect. May his soul rest in peace." he wrote.

A man suspected to be a transformer vandal has died after been electrocuted by a transformer in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital.

HGS Media Plus gathered that the man was electrocuted to death while tring to steal from a transformer along Osiri road in Ekeki area of the state.

The suspected met his untimely end immediately power was restored.

It was gathered that the body of the suspect was found in a gutter on Wednesday morning, August 10 after being electrocuted to death.

One 35-year-old Kamalideen Raji has been arrested by the Lagos State Police command Area k, Morogbo for allegedly killing lottery manager.

The incident happened on Tuesday, August 2 in Badagry area of Lagos state.

It was gathered that the suspect stabed the victim on his neck twice over a disagreement about unpaid debt.

The victim was rushed to Badagry General Hospital for medical attention where he later died.

A suspected cable thief was electrocuted while tring to steal from a transformer in the Isale Agbede, lagos island area of Lagos state.

The deceased suspect was said to have been electrocuted when the electricity company restore power while he was trying to steal from the transformer.

A twitter user @hartunday shared a video of the deceased suspect lying unconsciouslyby the side of the transformer.

A young girl was mercilessly beaten to pulp by angry residents after she was caught for allegedly stealing generator in Warri, Delta State.

The incident happened on Sunday, July 3 at Lori-Igba street, off Deco road, Warri, Delta State.

HGS Media Plus gathered that the suspect and her accomplice hired a keke, (tricycle) to take them to a compound where they stole a generator.

It was also gathered that while they were about leaving, the Keke driver who became suspicious asked the suspects if generator belonged to them and they said yes.

Subsequently, a woman from the compound who sighted them asked where they were taking the generator to, and immediately one of the suspect ran away leaving the said girl to the mercy of the Keke driver and angry residents.

Three cripples have been apprehended by the Edo State vigilante for beating one of thier own who refused to join their association.

The incident happened this morning, June 11, at Akpakpava road, few meters from the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) of the State.

HGS Media Plus report that the cripples approached the victim and told him that he has to join their association before he can be allowed to beg for alms.

An eyewitness, who spoke with HGS said he knows the cripple and that he was passing by when he saw the other cripples beating him.

"I know the cripple, i use to give him money. I was walking on the other side of the road when i saw the other cripples beating him, it was shoking to me."

"I crossed to know what was happening but some passersby have already intervene and stopped the fight before i got there. when did cripples start having association in this country, so begging now has association?"

While Interrogating the suspects, one of them said they were sent by their meeting leader to tell the victim that if he does not join their association, he won't be allowed to beg for alms on the street.

Angry passersby who were displeased with their action landed slaps on their faces before handed them over to the State vigilante.

One Salamat Kehinde, has been arrested by the Osun State police Command for setting ablaze her husband's six bedroom apartment worth N3 million.

According to report, the enraged wife burnt down the house after learning that Lamidi intends to marry a new wife.

Properties inside the six-bedroom apartment were said to have been burnt down completely, but no lives were lost.

The incident took place on the 18th of March around Adio,Ori Eru in Iwo.

Salamat, was later arrested by the police after her husband alerted the police about her alleged arson.
