lekinz:Guy you r just evading my question with that statement,iPhone 6 has just 8mp camera which even the lowest Lumia boasts of,Lumia 1020 has an unprecedented 41mp. IPhone 6 and Lumia 1020 both have 1GB ram,iPhone have their voice assistant called Siri,Lumia has theirs called Cortana.I don't have to own an iPhone or have a neighbor that owns one, just go to the next and compare their specifications and you'll see the difference is just fine margins |
My question is this, after November ends and d season of surprise ends, will this data plan be invalid or is it here to stay for the long run? |
lekinz:Dude don't say wat you don't know,Nokia Lumia is a very great phone, comparable with iPhone on many counts.I currently use one and I know for sure that I don't regret buying it.Pls tell me wat iPhone can boast of a camera of 41 megapixel? |
Okay let us leave the religious angle and focus on genetics. Research had shown that, tho cousin marriage may not be harmful at first, continual cousin marriage between the same family will eventually lead to d manifestation of recessive genes responsible for genetic defects. Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia about a long run research of cousin marriage btwn Pakistan-Britons A BBC report discussed Pakistanis in Britain, 55% of whom marry a first cousin.[196] Given the high rate of such marriages, many children come from repeat generations of first-cousin marriages. The report states that these children are 13 times more likely than the general population to produce children with genetic disorders, and one in ten children of first-cousin marriages in Birmingham either dies in infancy or develops a serious disability. The BBC also states that Pakistani-Britons, who account for some 3% of all births in the UK, produce "just under a third" of all British children with genetic illnesses. Published studies show that mean perinatal mortality in the Pakistani community of 15.7 per thousand significantly exceeds that in the indigenous population and all other ethnic groups in Britain. Congenital anomalies account for 41 percent of all British Pakistani infant deaths.[197] The BBC story contained an interview with Myra Ali, whose parents and grandparents were all first cousins. She has a very rare recessive genetic condition, known as Epidermolysis bullosa which will cause her to lead a life of extreme physical suffering, limited human contact and probably an early death from skin cancer. Knowing that cousin marriages increase the probability of recessive genetic conditions, she is understandably against the practice. Finally, in 2010 the Telegraph reported that cousin marriage among the British Pakistani community resulted in 700 children being born every year with genetic disabilities So the fact is that if you marry your cousin there might not be a problem, but when your child also marries his cousin, then your grandchild does the same, expect genetic defects to occur |
rezy15:That was b4 God laid down the new law for the Israelites |
charlsecy:Read Leviticus 18:6,the bible clearly stars that one must not have sexual relations with a close relative or someone near of kin. Is your cousin not a close relative??! |
Well I think dating your cousin, especially first cousin is really wrong, she is too close a relative and the bible forbids such.As for Islam ehn,cousin-cousin marriage is one of the many wrong things that religion promotes so that shouldn't be used in an argument.Marriage btwn cousins is still in breeding and could have negative genetic effects on an offspring of such relationship, after all you and your cousin share a grandparent!!! Your cousin is almost as close as your sibling, that's d reality and that's y must cultures forbid such relationships |

Nice thread, interesting discussion but it seems,to me,to be centered around OAU pre degree students alone, thereby blocking out others...just my observation |
