This latest action just shows that this government is worse than military rule. They practically threatened INEC into postponing the election. So they mean that just a few hundreds troops cannot be deployed to the polling stations to protect the life of Nigerians? After all the election is taking place for just 2 days. Well Jega has no choice,if the military has refused to provide support,he has no choice but to cancel it else the blood of innocent Nigerians be on his hands. GEJ has successfully removed the I in INEC which should stand for Independent by using the resources at his control to oppress and force inec into taking actions to benefit his political propaganda. It's quite obvious that this government has smth evil they are planning Did they just discover the date for this elections? Why didn't they start this 'all-out' war against boko haram since last year? So they knew how to get the resources to fight these criminals since and they did nothing and allowed thousands of Nigerians to die and be kidnapped?! As far as I am concerned there are no grounds for the postponement of this election. The fact is that not everyone who has registered will vote. Today I went to get my own PVC and I was shocked by the number of cards yet to be collected. The fact is that not everybody is interested in voting,some just needed the TVC for opening bank accts and some other registration as a form of identification. Those who are really interested have gone to collect theirs.
Secondly the issue of insecurity as an excuse is absolutely shallow. This insecurity has been on ground for years,so I ask,is the FG promising to have totally solved the insurgency issue before the new date? If they can't totally solve it by then,why postpone it now?
I think we should just do it now and push it off our minds

What's even vexing me is that FG is citing insecurity in the northeast as a reason to postpone the election as if they are going to solve the security crises before the proposed new date.

Merging isn't possible or feasible at all. The logistics of the whole process will be too difficult. Hostels won't be enough,school facilities will be insufficient most importantly there'll be overpopulation in all faculties

The truth is that most of the acts we classify as sins are sins according to man not necessarily God. As far as I'm concerned,the sin is indiscriminate sex. Bruh,its a two way lane. The same way you are insinuating that its Buhari responsible for the bombing is also the same way I can suggest maybe its PDP that's responsible.
Think of it this way. GEJ could have paid the bombers to operate all week and then also 3 mins after he left the stadium and be silent when GMB is around thereby making it look like the bombers are anti-PDP and thus pro-APC.its similar to the stoning incident in Borno(or was it Bauchi) which the governor of that state later revealed to be the handwork of PDP members. Frankly this scenario is even more likely bcuz there's no way GEJ got lucky and escaped just after 3 mins,if those bombers really wanted to kill him,they would have struck midway thru the rally with ease judging by the abysmal state of security around there.

Today is just 3rd February. Using 10th as a benchmark, that's 7 days allowance from today. Why don't these lawyers push for a 3-day public holiday for citizens to get their PVCs if they are really truthful about their motives?

INEC has declared that PVCs are now ready so I expect the government to create a friendly environment for citizens to collect their PVCs and that can only be acheived through a public holiday.

Postponing the elections is suspicious and there's definitely a hidden agenda behind it. There's about 11 days left to elections. Government should declare a 2-day public holiday and stop fooling around trying to create chaos by postponing the electios.
