Miss, put yourself in the situation of this little boy, if you are to find help and someone is saying not to waste time on you. I never knew some human beings can be this heartless, you just proved a point, it's people like you who gives the boko haram soldiers since you don't care for your little ones, how do you expect a country free from crimes, never you would never have one cause you didn't give them an opportunity at becoming a person who won't resort to carrying guns. Sir PMB007 please... If there's anything, anything at all you can do to help him please do. May God reward you and provide the funds to help him for you.

Thank you for the input. My offer above still holds, as long as I'm able to get a genuine contact. The earlier we start repaying the evils around us with compassion, the better our chances of ridding the society of that evil.

It beats me more that you're a female. Notwithstanding any kind of experience you've had in the past, nobody should ever hold this much rage against a fellow being, as you definitely lose out @ the end. This kids are victims of circumstances you should pray even your own kids should never come across. If we leave them in their evil ways, they will grow up to torment out own kids that we've raised right...n the cycle continues. So, my lovely sister, don't let one experience kill the humanity in you.
N.B - I'm not a northerner and I've also had my fair share of bad experience with them; but, as they say - life goes on!

According to a Facebook user Jaafar Jafaar who shared the photos/story,a young Kano boy, 10, was left stranded after his separated parents reject him.Below is what he wrote......

''Kano boy, 10, stranded after separated parents reject him

A ten year-old-boy, simply identified as Sayyid, is roaming the streets of Kano in search of food and shelter, following the separation of his parents.

The ordeal of the minor started two years ago when his mother's new husband said he would not accept "agola" (a derogatory term for a stepson) in his home.

At this point the boy had no option but to go back to father, who just married a richer woman and settled in her house.

Narrating his situation to Freedom Radio, a local station in Kano, Sayyid said when he returned to his father, his father's new wife also said she would not accept "agola" in her house.

According to Sayyid, his father then concurred with his bride's directive and sent him away.

Since then, Sayyid had no option but to wander around the city in search of food and shelter.

"I join beggars to get what to eat, and I sleep anywhere I find myself," he said.

"It is always difficult for me to get what to eat. My dream is to go to school and become rich so that I can buy food to people."

Phones / Re: Which Power Bank Are You Using & How Satisfied Are You With It? by PMB007: 7:43am On Jul 18, 2016
Mynd44:
I have three power banks.
1. New Age 4400mah
2. New Age 15,600mah
3. "Samsung" 20,000mah.

The Samsung is the oldest and I will be retiring it (disposing it or givih it out due to it not working optimally any longer) this week when the new one I ordered for arrives.

They are both great a work well too. I doubt the samsung is really made by Samsung but thats the name on the pack.

I ordered for a 20,000mah powerbank which should arrive on Friday and I hope it will be as good as the ones I have right now

pls, comman give it to me.

"It took me 6 years after my first degree to discover myself and what I really wanted to do with my life. In that 6 years I was trying my hand on different things but never found fulfillment in any of them till the day I dropped my kids off at school then spent the entire day helping and talking to the pupils in the school. Nobody sent me to do it but it made me happy and I knew that was it.
The next step for me was to get a degree in Psychology education. The people around me did not understand why I would abandon my first degree in chemistry for that but I found fulfillment in mentoring and helping kids and that's all that mattered to me."
I can totally relate with this lady, as I also abandoned my chemistry degree to start a degree in educational foundations n also in Lagos too. Thumbs up 2 U sis., for going after your dreams. Barakallaahu fihi!!!

Islam for Muslims / Re: Permissible Excuses For Breaking The Fast by PMB007: 3:02pm On Jun 26, 2015
qbd2:
Okay. How bout someonme that stays ina country with long fasting hours, can such person break his her fast when tired and unable to cope?
I can relate to that condition, dear sis. There are some European countries where the sun does not set till very late in the night, thereby extending the period of fasting to longer hours (some as long as 22hrs). If you reside in any such country as a Muslim (with the obligation to fast in the month of Ramadan), you would endeavour to keep fasting in patience, knowing that your reward is with your Lord. However, if on any day, it becomes apparent that continuing your fast will become harmful to your health or body, then there will be no sin on you to break your fast with the intention of making up for it on another day.
And Allaah knows best!
May Allaah ease all our ways and set right our affairs. smiley

Nice one op, but what caught my attention was about the illness part. For the past four days i'm suffering from severe fever. chronic fever though, my body could burn up for 7hrs plus non-stop during the day, this made my fasting uneasy. I was tempted twice to break my fast so i could use drugs but i continued..

My question is, assuming my body flares up again while in the middle of fasting, can i break my fast? Because the fever is so unbearable sometimes..
Extreme health conditions are part of the permissible reasons which allows you to break your fast during the day. You would know your body better than anyone one, so, if you get to a stage where you feel is uncomfortable to continue your fast, then, there's no harm on you if you break it; and make up for it another day.
And Allaah knows best!
May Allaah grant you shifaa...
