Is computer Business still a good option for someone who did the computer training and master it very well with 5yrs experience as an employee.

If I open the business now in 2025, what's the possibility that it'll blow or expand? Do people still need the service in 2025 and in Lagos?

Is it a good investment as I don't know any other business I can do except that. I love tech and everything related to computer. You opinion is highly needed and advice.
The new name is workspaces
Capital intensive and can burn your fingers if you just want to make money

BusinessThe First Guy To Be Employed Absconded by pneumaticos(op): 8:01pm On Jan 08, 2025
After learning and working close to a decade

I understand the sweet end of every tech guy is to have a platform
For guys in security.. consultation and probably platforms too

Been a digital marketer...a thing I fell into as I couldnt focus on programming due to the hunger of those days with no one to help

I decided to do some start up thing from the ground up

It's been 3 years of grinds
I had only one employee in my first year
Now 3 employees at the third year

Since I invest alot in employees (talking and teaching and while understanding fully that anyone who knows 50% of what I know in online sales wouldn't work for anyone

I left myself with the fate that only God will bring those that can really do the works
While I do what I can managing the available ones He has provided

So I took in another employee today..a male(guy) on contract
Carrying a CV of an expert marketer in Google ads
But hardly understanding what a VPS means
I felt LinkedIn profiles where true
But I am really getting disappointed

He was suppose to start a freelance type of job today with a pay which I feel is great enough
But had to leave for an imaginary emergency which I believe where pure lies
The use of the computer to this guy felt like climbing Everest
Alot of people just need to go for intern instead of jobs

Maybe you are this guy and reading this...I would advice you remove the Google ads expert from your profile
Just go and learn and don't proof shit to anyone
Just do it
WebmastersRe: How Good Is Monnify For International USD Payment? by pneumaticos(m): 5:11am On Jan 07, 2025
mrvictor:
Please, who has used Monnify for International USD payment on e-commerce website?
How good and reliable is their online payment platform?
How good is their customer support service?

I know there's Paystack and Flutterwave, but my inquiring is particularly about Monnify.
They are not made for that
The don't have solid system to support it

Flutter wave has the highest reach
But they can give you trouble

Pastack will process what they can
But their reach is limited
But atleast..you have a good support and no hassles with paystack

Flutter wave can confiscate funds and give flimsy excuses

Go and watch THE GOATLIFE first and ask urself same question after.
First one middle East.....not a great place for me
Let them do their own job

Secondly....the wage is just too low
That's about 750 USD per month

Why should a Nigerian go outside
Like export his brain, body and life for 750 USD per month

If the guy got brain

He can do that 750 USD comfortably here exporting only the soft side of his skill
Not himself as a whole

Better look for some other European countries than a place like middle East for work

TravelRe: Relocating To Abuja: Help Me To Decide! by pneumaticos(m): 5:35pm On Dec 13, 2024
THELATTERMAN:
I'm planning to relocate to Abuja next month, that is January 2025, after completing my undergraduate study in one of the neighboring states. I'm confused about the best, most affordable place to stay.

My major needs are security, electricity, nearness to town, and affordable housing. I have been looking at Kubwa and Lugbe, but I would appreciate some input from Abuja residents here.

Note: I am on a budget. So, places like Asokoro, Utako, etc are out of it. Secondly, I'm a freelancer; hence my need for an area with a steady electricity supply.

So, where in Abuja would you suggest and why?
Look for a place with cheap life in Nigeria and grow
First

Sigh! The moment you step outside of the gates of many of those homes, you are greeted, sometimes with mountains of trash and streets unkempt. No matter where you go in Nigeria, the sights are just depressing when you consider it could easily have been a lot better in many of those places if the people would for once try borrowing some sense of community. 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
Madam Kobo, I understand your point
And for real, you don't need to write it all over here
Nigerian is still 150 years backward if not 200 years
There is really nothing to celebrate here than to enjoy some free God given things like early morning dews ,Good sunshine, and probably some non gmoed foods

But you lashing at this just to much
NYSCRe: Is There Any Advantage Of NYSC Discharge Certificate Over The Exemption Certif? by pneumaticos(m): 6:31pm On Nov 26, 2024
Evidenx:
In Nigeria school na scam, especially the way education is in Nigeria.

If I give birth to my children, all of them are going to attend a technical school from the start, then all of them must have Atleast one tech skill.

Anyone who doesn't follow this path as it is now in Nigeria, will be carrying file from office to office.

About the question asked, both exemption letter and NYSC discharge certificate Carry's same weight, although both are useless and irrelevant in today's world.
The guy thinks he is Young

Even YouTube does better than 90% of Nigerian universities

Not yet. Decided to build a house, got scammed big time by a so called pastor or maybe the people he used but now I have a house of my own and finishing a second ( where I intend to leave ).

I decided to go oil and gas. Starting with a very standard cooking gas station. It will be extremely capital intensive as I need two plots but it is something my mind is made up on doing.

Next year is it for the gas station.
Many should be called bastards in Nigeria
Even the most trusted source can turn scammy

You will want to build system and include them, but they end up thinking the best way to leave life is to scam
Help them ,and they still ask for more
Trust them..and they will begin to steal

it's a lucrative business, if you can get the location right...with less than 20m you're good to go.
i just finished a proposal/ market survey on it.
20 m no longer doing it

Maybe if you going for stolen or second hand furniture

Solar Alon could cost 10 million except the spaces is where two or three are gathered

I just spent over 15 on one...no wonder people are japaing
Investing in the country is a tough task when combined with lots of quacks and fakes in form of workers

Some FOOL's life is about to EXPLODE like oil tanker.

Moving to Nigeria with a REMOTE job is STUPID!

A LOT of companies are ACTIVELY working to eradicate their remote positions and implementing RTO mandates.

Chances are high that his remote job will VANISH in a year and he'd realise that his side hustle in Lagos is NOTHING.

Especially when he's raising a child and supporting a spouse while he needs to maintain a SEMBLANCE of the standard of living he had in the UK.

ONLY people that should move back to Nigeria are GERIATRIC 76-year olds who wish to die in their Fatherland.

In which case, the ASTRONOMICAL drop in air quality alone is enough to grant their wish PRONTO.
I agree with you regarding remote jobs

But of a truth
If you can make same amount in UK in Nigeria and you aren't that ambitious in Nigeria, then this place is ok

Regarding air quality...too much lagosing makes people say this

There are several locations in Nigeria with superior air quality
