I can confirm that Petroleum Engineers who did medicals were called this last week. I don't know about other disciplines though, but looking at the thread here, some were called as well. Earth Scientists who had done medicals more than 12 months ago were also contacted to fill a medical update form earlier in the week. I reckon the recruitment has started to pick up steam. Historically it takes Chevron about 2-3 weeks to provide next steps/update.

Let's see what happens after Salah break.

How about other positions that no one has been called for background check or medicals since after the interview? Do you think there is still hope?

We did interview for operators somewhere between July ending and August 1st last year but no update since then.

My application from the dashboard still shows Application received since Oct 8 2024. Does anyone see same thing from the Chevron Operators application portal did anyone got a rejection mail? I decided to check now as I've not checked for a year now I was thinking a mail of next phase or rejection will be sent. I wrote the test sometimes April 2025

7 months now since I interviewed for the operator position. No one seems to know what's going on with the recruitment. 😂

This is strange. I wonder if they are still moving on with this recruitment.

Good question. However, I will not be disclosing my source. All you have to do is wait and see if this happens or not. They are currently looking for office spaces for the would be new hires. Post-restructuring, CVX mostly hot desks, so, many people do not have designated workspaces now.

I made a call to a chevron staff, I dont want to mention his name. He told me with full confidence that we will get feedback from them. That they are still on the process. But when are we to get the feedback I dont know and I did not ask him. But he assured me that we will hear from them

I landed in hospital last year after eating beans. I was perceiving chemical smell.

This unhealthy way of preserving beans is not been taken seriously. I stopped eating beans for many months until recently that I start checking well before eating beans.

There have been a lot of changes at Chevron following the restructuring. At this stage, if you didn’t receive a medical invite even after completing the background check, it may be best to move on. People who did medicals will most likely be called soon.

I know some have done medicals that's for the first batch of recruitment that came out in August 2024. Mainly engineers and other roles.

I am taking about the role for operators that was interviewed for in July/August, have they abandoned the operator position? Also specialists, technicians also did interview in August last year. We haven't heard from them since, I have reached out to some guys that did interview for the operator position, everyone is saying the same thing no feedback.

It seems only engineers, and some other positions for the first batch recruitment have done background check and medicals. No movement whatsoever for operators I haven't even heard of one person that got background check since after the interview.

Did they cancel the recruitment for operators, specialists and technicians?
