Hunter102: This is a contract role for Chevron handled by TAG Energy. Please what about for operators. Both associate and operators wrote the same test, how are they splitting them to associate and operators. Is it based on scores? Also, any update or idea when operators will get invite for interview? |

No doubt that a significant population of Nigerians are corrupt, but who did this analysis to come up with 80%.
The secondary school I attended, we wrote WAEC with our heads, I never for once paid for sorting while in the Uni. So they should speak for themselves. We still have a significant population of honest Nigerians. This writer should better start asking questions.
Are there no corrupt people in the west? Did that stop the government from doing their duties?. Today everyone wants to japa to countries where the system works. The government should wake up and this writer should stop giving excuses for the wickedness and incompetence of our ruling class
Yes the people are corrupt, should that be room for excuses as to why the ruling class should be corrupt too.
They said to whom much is given much is expected. Let the sanitation begin from the top then it will be easier to fight it at the bottom.
I rest my case. |

I applied for associate Operator only to be invited for operators skills test. I have taken the test though. Is this test for both associate operators and operators? |

Honchoslim16: Thank you!
I've a Wema account (not upgraded yet) and there's 60k in it. So it needs to be upgraded with NIN before I can do withdrawals.
The problem is i just realised my NIN is saying suspended and i can't use it to upgrade the account. So i went to NIMC centre close to me and they were telling me that the portal for rectifying suspended NIN is not ready yet.
My question now is can i go to the Wema bank and tell them i want to close the account and get my cash? Or what do you think? You can give it a try. I think you can withdraw your cash |

Christianity Etc › Re: Is It Sin That Takes A Sinner To Hell Or Not Believing In Jesus? by pneumatikos: 1:10am On Mar 03, 2025 |
cutecommend: It is very important I help you this morning so that you won't be living in false confidence while moving on the wrong path.
The truth is that if anyone dies now with any sin, they are going straight to hell; whether they are sinners or believers. But if you accept Jesus Christ and repent before dying or before rapture, you will make heaven. Someone's last state before they die or before rapture, determines their going to heaven. And going to heaven requires no sin in you at your last state on earth.
It is only Jesus Christ that takes one to heaven. If you are morally upright without sin and yet do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, you cannot make heaven. And if you are a Christian and you do not ask for pardon on any known or unknown sin before you die or before rapture, you cannot make heaven.
The purpose of God implanting sanctification and holiness in people is to make them live lives without sin.
While there is heaven for Christians who will die in the great tribulation for refusing to comply with the anti-christ: this is after rapture, I tell you this truth: SIN TAKES A MAN TO HELL.
It is a beautiful Sunday. Please pray quickly, accept Jesus today and repent from all sins. Also attend a Bible-believing church. You seem to contradict yourself. Take an open mind and study scriptures for yourself. You said "It is only Jesus Christ that takes one to heaven. If you are morally upright without sin and yet do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, you cannot make heaven." How can one be morally upright without sin and yet if he does not accept Jesus he is going to hell. Can you see your contradiction? So what role does accepting Jesus Christ does in the believer if truly his morality is not enough. So why then do you emphasize the last state of a man before the death as the criteria for making heaven. Is that not contradictory? They asked Jesus what must they do to do the works of God, but this is what he says. According to the Bible, in John 6:28-29, Jesus states that "the work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent," meaning that the primary way to "do the works of God" is to believe in Jesus Christ. Yet you look at light the sacrifice of Jesus and says a man's last state is what determines his salvation. Many so called holiness preachers will be shocked on that day that they do not actually believe in Jesus but rather in their own righteousness and holiness. How many people think they are on their way to heaven because they have set in their minds their own standard for righteousness and holiness and has limited them to a set of rules and regulations. You better cast all your hope on him and truly believe that Christ's death and resurrection is more than enough for you and any other addition is another gospel and it's false. It's either you believe that Jesus's sacrifice is enough for you or not. The choice remains yours. I took my time to study during COVID 19, during the lock down and truly I am scared at many who think they are holy and righteous because they keep a set of moral rules. Repent (change your mind that Christ is enough and more than enough). I can hear buts, "are you saying we should continue in sin?" If you ask this very question then you truly do not understand the gospel. I rest my case. |

Ofodirinwa: I understand, but in the age of information, i think it's more important to be resourceful than strategic. And not everyone is in a position where strategy is going to be the determining factor for their outcomes. But everyone needs vocabulary and spelling in the short and long term. It's also hard to measure results of Chess as a game as it effects a person Vocabulary as regards one language? Never underestimate strategy. In life, you can't be successful if you are not deliberate and strategic about your success. While in school you strategize on time management and resource allocation. Scaling up your preferences. One aspect that chess also improves is spatial intelligence. Scrabble does same too but not to the degree that chess does. You need a lot of foresight and seeing things your opponent can't see while it's in front of them. |

GanagiBitrus: Saying one's opinion doesn't count, without giving valid arguments to counter such opinion, is a dumb reply, to say the least. &my response was not an insult.
I played Chess back in the days. I even got a little book that analysed some classic games by popular Masters like Kasparov & Bob Fischer.
In all, I still regard Chess as a glorified draughts, or Advanced Draft like someone commented. &I don't consider those who spend hours playing chess any different from idle folks who spend same hours playing Draft. It's only those who don't understand Chess that look at chess players with awe.
Only advantage of Chess over Draft is if you're going professional where you'll participate in money-making competitions.
&back to the topic, Scrabbles remains better option for a kid. Studies have shown that chess primarily improves aspects of intelligence related to fluid reasoning, working memory, planning, problem-solving, and critical thinking; essentially enhancing cognitive abilities that involve analysing complex situations, making strategic decisions, and thinking several steps ahead, often referred to as "executive function." Chess requires a lot of strategic thinking which is much different from draughts. It is said that the number of possible chess moves is so vast that it reaches into the trillions, often cited as around 10^120, meaning there are more potential chess variations than atoms in the observable universe; this number is often referred to as the "Shannon Number" in chess analysis. Don't compare chess with draughts. They are not in the same level. Chess is far more complex and better in terms of the aspect of intelligence it improves. People have been playing chess for years yet there are still positions and variations that are puzzling. |

The harder it takes for people to survive the easier it will take for them to entertain evil vices.
Crime and poverty goes hand in hand.
A poor/struggling man is naturally prone to crime.
When we clamour for better governance it’s because of things like this not hate or tribal war. There is no justification for crime. Many people are going through hard times too but they do not resort to crime. |
