Hobe: I thought I already gave an answer to this. Just to reiterate: I would not quit. I would continue, as long as my ideal setups present themselves. I agree that high probability setups are no guarantee of success, they only possess a higher potential for successful trades and that's pretty much as good as it gets. It's possible that continuing after several losses is foolhardy, but it's what I intend to do.

Hobe: I understand where you're coming from. To avoid such a scenario, I only trade high probability setups. I don't anticipate making three consecutive losses . If such were to happen however, well, that would be a disaster, but I'd have to stick to my plan and try to come back. And yes, risking 10% per trade.

Hobe: Yes I would continue looking for good setups throughout the day, risking the same 10%. But then, I'd have to place two successful bets to achieve my daily target, which complicates things. What I'd rather have happen is for the first scenario to play out nicely for as many days as possible.

After three failed attempts trading binary options over the past two years, I have decided to open this thread to record my progress and hopefully my success on this final attempt. I have come to the realization that my past failures were not as a result of a lack of skill or knowledge, but came about due to indiscipline and greed. I made some good money and in an attempt to make more too quickly, I lost it all.

And so now, with this thread, and hopefully with the participation of other successful or aspiring-to-be-successful traders like myself, I hope to be able to dispel the belief that a living cannot be made trading binary options, or forex for that matter. I know it is possible to be successful and I already would have been had I not been reckless on my previous attempts.

For this final attempt then, my personal goal is to achieve a 100% increase on my account balance at the end of every month (20 trading days). To make this happen, all I need is to make 5% of my account daily, a task which is easily possible with just one successful trade every day, risking 10% of my account per trade.

I will be placing all of my trade calls and updates here. Feel free to take these calls and this challenge with me, or to contribute in any way you can. Let us prove that it is possible to be successful trading binary options.

Lot`s of folks will ask for your indicators, then dump them after one loss. And move to the next person posting profits to ask for more indicators.....and the cycle continues.

charlso1: Thanks a lot optimisticgondy for recommending Chris Capre to the forum. I have bought his advance price action course and pro price action course which just arrived yesterday. It's a bomb. The course cost over $700 but I'm not regretting paying for it. This is part of my 2 months salary savings. By watching the videos, i hav understood that forex trading is a business not gambling. jpmorgan003: 5% of $500 is $25. so you are risking that amount on that particular trade.. however, your stoploss and lot size will play vital role. amount/stoploss (pips)= lot size.

if i get u right, assumin i use a lot size of 0:1 which is equivalent to 1pip=$1 wit a stoploss of 25pips,does dat mean i've exposed 5% of $500?tnk u al 4 ur replies

Click the box where you see amount delete the amount there and type the amount YOU want........that's all!
