America uses a NTSC picture system while most product in Nigeria uses PAL picture system.

you best bet is...
1: change the TV system to auto or pal.
2: get a DVD,decoder, or home theater that allows its picture system to be set to auto or NTSC if the TV system can not be changed.

the last time I checked the constitution of Nigeria, there is freedom of association, thus anybody is free to start any group.
Nairaland satellite section have lost its full glory about 3-4years ago, and the degrading status will continue.
Moderators are not effective, rules are not obeyed, newbies want to become prof without the foundations of FTA n satellite . The quick fix and outright answer of spoonfeeding ,constant irritation n provocation of founding members led to their exodus. The few who remain here are one way or the other rubbished or insulted.

observation on feeds on Sirius 4.8east.

on my 4922 12015 tp was 87% but those tp 12734 h 4430 skips between 45-0 %.
so I tried it out on my 4653x and 12015 tp jumps to 96% while the feeds lowest tp was stable with 58% to 77% and stable.

so, I'll advice for you to fully enjoy those feeds on 4.8east, try out mpeg2 decoders.
