Don't be deceived, you can't get a used gaming laptop with 8gb ram for that price except distress sale. but you can get a very good used core i7 laptop with 80-90k....

Would a brand new Celeron system last longer than an Intel system? Or is just the speed that marks the difference. I'm planning on getting a system too but confused on whether getting a UK used Intel pentium system with core i7/ i5 or a brand new Celeron system with less specs. My budget range is limited.

It's just speed and ability to run some sophisticated programmes. Celeron is also done by Intel.

if you don't want use ones, I'll advice you go for a celeron system with 4gb ram and 500gb hdd, you can get that within your budget.

Check if the hdd has been displaced from its position or do windows repair with an installation OS, that way you save your files.

Faulty HDD is usually the cause of this... Try changing your Hdd and you'll be good to go
