This happened between Monday and Tuesday. I was in need of data, to top it with my existing data because am kind of a heavy browser. So i saw an advert on a WhatsApp group that i joined of a guy selling data and only through bank transfers, which was is my first time of contacting someone online to buy data. I chatted with the guy nd we started transaction, i fulfilled my own part by transfering 1k first for 4gig nd he said he can only send 8gig which cost 2k, so i transferred the remaining 1k, both got delivered, he started giving stories, that he hasnt seen it, network issue nd so on. the next morning i asked him about the data nd he said i should check my account balance, which was still the same, before i knew it, the guy blocked me. I called him, he picked and didnt say anything.

i have his account number and name, but am still looking for a way to get his picture. I know he can be tracked through his BVN nd his whole accounts will get blocked also. The reason am doing this is not about the money, but the number of people who must have fallen into this trap with their hard earned money and people like this needs to be brought to Justice.

Have been a Regular Nairalander and I was really concerned when some people complained about Nairaland's Interface and User Experience. I asked myself a Question, Whats Really Wrong with the Layout and User Experience?

I set out on my quest to ask questions from people who visit Nairaland alot and those who also dont Visit, to know the reasons why and I got some Answers

Am a User Experience Designer, should i say, i Just started learning the Educational part of it, but it has been a God given Talent in me, as i do help with the User Experience Design for people's work willingly, without knowing what i was doing was a work for a User Experience Designer.

So This is my Proposed Layout for Nairaland's Header and User Profile Layout, from my research, does where what some people Complained about and i put in time to sketch it out.

I dont have a Laptop yet, that was why i was not able to create the WireFrame for it.

One of the businesses that you can invest in, without your physical appearance is like Online business. You can also invest in a business without your presence there, if you have a trusted person that can help you look after the business and give you your profits in return. One of the businesses that you can invest in, without been there is like been the middle man for a products. Let me explain better.

Its like buying and selling, you will still get your profits. You go to a wholesale dealer of the type pf products you want to be selling, you make an agreement with him by telling him that, you will send money to his/her account and he will help you deliver the products to your desired customers within the vicinity and your customers will always pay you on demand. You dont need to be there, your wholesaler dealer will do the job for you and you will also pay the money for transportation. You just need to get customers and your business will flourish cause you wont be there and you will have more time to focus on other things and your business will just be, order and pay on demand. Will just advice you to try and call the man and tell him the honest truth. Dont let him call you first, talk to him calmly and in a matured way. You shouldn't see this as an issue, instead you should see it as a challenge that you and your partner will surely overcome. Some people will bash you or try to discourage you, but i will tell you that you should actually go for her if she posses a good wife material. Thank God that it cant be passed to your children when you start giving birth and if you have the finance to take care of her, why not, go ahead and marry her. She even tried by telling you the truth because some people wont tell you till you finally marry them. Dont be depressed and dont put it in your mind, i wish you the best as you make the right choices.

My phone battery got drained yesterday afternoon and due to the erratic power supply in my area, I knew I either had to get fuel or wait till today and charge it at work. On getting to work and switching on my phone, I was bombarded with SMS, Facebook and whatsapp notifications, all almost from the same person( a childhood friend of mine). Apparently, he tried calling my phone cos whatever it was couldn't wait. He was so deeply trouble cos he had a rather unusual story to tell. Here is his story:

He rented a house and moved in with his
family a couple of years ago after his wife convinced him their former house is below their taste. After 2 years, the rent was increased
from #600,000 to #700,000. He didn't complain
because he liked the house and well suited for
his family. The following year, he couldn't
come up with the money and the agent was
on his neck, he almost lost the house. His
wife saw what the husband was going
through and she decided to help. She
borrowed some money and gave it to him to pay the house rent.
The husband was indeed very happy and thanked lovely wife for being caring,
understandable, and very helpful to the
present need. He paid her back later. 2 years
later, the house rent increased to #1,200,000
and the man became very upset. So he begged
the agent to introduce him to the landlord so
that he could plead with him or her but the
agent bluntly refused.
The man decided to do some underground
background investigations to uncover who the
landlord is. What he found out really shook
and shocked him: You won't believed this!!!
The very house in question actually belonged
to his own wife. The very motives still
unknown. Right now he is very depressed.
The only advice I could offer was that he talk to his wife and find out her reasons for such act. Pls more advice from the house.

Hmmm, the best thing for your friend to do here is to be sure that he has gathered enough evidence and also he should have a physical evidence also. Then on a faithful day, he should take his wife out on a private outing, just both of them, let them have fun and enjoy there selves because thats one of the ways to solve this thing with peace and also to gain access into her heart for him to know the actual truth. After the have gotten home, with a cool voice he should sit her down and ask her the reasons for doing so and listen to her reasons. He should behave maturely by not raising his voice @ her and after she has said her reasons, then we will know what to do next. Cus she might do it out of different things, which you cant say if she is trying to punish your friend or advices from people or your friend doesnt shower her with gifts or money and many more. I wish them a happy home without divorcing and he should listen well and try not to quarrel. He is the man so he should handle the case well, even if the wife will want to shout or misbehave. Thanks

4. The buying of land and buildings will also take more money from you due to high prices of materials e.t.c

Next is being the middle man. As the middle man, you have mani advantages and less disadvantages, the risk there is also little

1.You only buy and sell @ demand from your customers.
2.You can scale up easily.
3.The risk is little and you only spend money for buying and transporting the Products to your Customers.

I totally agree with your post. Some parents are also factors of forcing thier daughters into marriage @ an early age or pressurizing them to get married and the children/daughters are also giving room for this factors to take place. We need to understand that the choices that our parents make on our life, we shall take the full responsibility of what ever happens to us. We need to come to a stage that we should be able to sit our parents down maturedly and state the reasons on what we think concerning any decision that the want to make. Life is not about rushing into things you didnt bargain for.
