FrankNetter: Food
One thing I've noticed here is that food is everywhere, at every corner, on every street there's an eatery (or something of that nature).
On the first day we got here, we ate out at one Chinese looking restaurant (I think I mentioned that earlier) It was a buffet-like setting. In my characteristic gluttony, I took a bit of everything and put on my plate
After a few bites of my meal, the sauce from one of the ngwongwo I put on my plate mixed with the whole meal and I had to abandon the whole plate. Went and took another plate and took chicken, chips and fish this time around. Then took fruits later.
I'm rearing to go to the popular eateries like kfc, McDonald, Burger King, etc etc (Yup, I love food like that) |

Frankrobbn1: I will recommend the study route which is the only thriving immigration route until September 07 when the travel restrictions will be lifted for all travellers. A post graduate diploma program in a related field based on your current employment is the best fit for your profile.
It will end in praise Amen..thank you so much |

Anndav: Childcare routine is no job for a Weak person anywhere in the world
And the cost of quality care in high..everywhere in the world
But going with your spouse will make it easier as you two will work around time to care for your children. ... I'd one's of your children was like 15, 16. years old or above it might be a little easy.. anyway if there is no other choice and you have to leave with them, just prepare your self emotionally and financially and you should get in touch with Nigerians in ur area and you can trust them they will make setting in a lot easier for you. thanks for your input |

Lagbaja88: its hard and exhausting. No house maid, combining work, child care, daycare costs, bills etc. If your husband can cover at least your rent from nigeria it's easier. You can see the woman above who is studying complaining. Depending on your income too government will give child benefit too, which can go towards day care costs Ok..thank you so much |

JustMellow: Hello Ponytail22,
Yes, you do as long as you meet the eligibility requirements of the study permit. Areas you should pay close attention to are:
• Study intent. Ensure it demonstrates study progression to your current employment domain. Your best bet is a PGD.
• Sufficient funds and accessibility. Avoid any unexplained and unjustified lump sum deposits.
• Home ties. Demonstrate your ties from a socioeconomic level of establishment.
• (Future) prospect or plans for the study, its employability, and employment situation where you intend to establish and utilize the earned knowledge.
In the absence of the registration certificate of the business, the online presence will go a long way. You can do well to support it with business receipts/pro forma, reference letter from the client(s), government revenue/tax payment documents, business financial records, orders and/or testimony screenshot(s) of your online business, supply/contract agreement papers, etc. Only provide the most applicable.
Best of Luck WOW...thank you so much Can I get a work permit while on the PGD program? |
