@OP Don't make youngsters still battling with ASUU and don't know what life is all about keep telling you sh.it.I believe before you took out time to type your last lengthy reply you must have thought it through and this gave birth to your decision.I have an Uncle who left Nigeria for Canada about 7 years ago.Before he left he was earning far more than you.Almost four times what you earn annually.Yes i said it almost four times your annual salary if not even more.He worked with SNEPCO.So many Nigerians judge life with their present condition and they draw a conclusion that everyone is like that.Every man to his fate and destiny.The same reason you gave that is what he gave for living the country as par children's future and peace of mind.When he got to Canada(Calgary) he had to pick up a job that pays far lesser than what he earns in Nigeria all because of his family but within his field(Oil Exploration).When he came to see me last year in the US he told me he doesn't care about what he earns now but he is always happy seeing his kids happy and living a life he dreamt of living while growing up but couldn't because his dad(My grand father)couldn't afford it.For those talking about you not finding a job when you migrate those are real pessimist and a Losers.If it doesn't work for you or someone you know doesn't mean it won't work for others.It was here in this forum few weeks back a Nairalander spoke of how he was mocked in the US by friends and loved ones on migrating with visa lottery that he can't work with his degree.They told him to start all over again by going to study Nursing.Today the guy who was an Accountant in Nigeria is now working with it.This is a guy that left Nigeria November last year according to his story.OP i believe you ain't one.My Uncle told me when he got to Calgary he was ashamed of himself.That so many guys that were his colleague back in Nigeria have now floated their own oil firm while some occupied Managerial positions in some great Multi-national Oil companies in Calgary.But it should be noted that he got his job based on the fact that he migrated through the Skilled Workers Programme.And being a professional with a track record of verifiable International projects in his field it didn't take him much time to secure a job.My advice to you OP is to look into this Skilled Workers Program someone provided the link earlier and try look into Australia also and see if you will be qualified.That's the best route IMO.Finally pray about it for its only God that can make our dreams come through especially when we work towards it and commit it to him.Wish you and your family best of luck[/b]
