The Story of Ladoja Impeachment, how it all started and ended undecided

http://www.thenewsng.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=697

But why are the people not on the street protesting the removal of Ladoja
Politics / Re: Oyo State Governor Ladoja Impeached At Last by pophoney(m): 6:22pm On Jan 13, 2006
Eedris said in his latest album that "Rich man deem dey chop alone and deem go die alone"

Ladoja was "chopping alone" with his kitchen cabinet after shutting the door against those that installed him as the governor.

It is a common knowledge in the state that he never won the election, it was baba adedibu that rigged it in his favour.
That is one of the reasons why the common man of the street did rose to fight for him.

Around April last year, Ladoja trasferred Oyo State account (money) from from TIB (Trans International Bank), a bank where the state government is the majority share holder just because of his personal grugde with an Ibadan Innestor.
That single act lead to the collapse of the bank, with shareholders and customers (teachers) left in limbo.

His impreachment is a lesson for all of us and most importantly those in power.
Never allow ego to control your sense of reasoning and never chop alone
Education / Re: Oyo State Governor's Chief of Staff Wants Monopoly in WAEC/NECO Exam Registration by pophoney(m): 1:17am On Jan 04, 2006
@ Adeoluwa
All the schools mentioned were registered by the same outfit recommeded by Sarafadeen Alli, you can do your research and investigate the matter.

I have no beef with sarafadeen and no cause to PHD him, what I wrote is the fact that can be confirmed form any of the principals and the schools registrars.

What has Adedibu got to do with this? and how does this article amount to distracting Ladoja?

The fact is Sarafadeen is corrupt and selfish smiley

The Chief of Staff didn't mention any particular company by name, he just said "He is the Governor's Chief of Staff", watches the contenance of the Principal and informs him/her that he is representing the governor or that he is interesting in doing the registration for the school.

We will try to get Mr Sharafadeen Alli to mention the name of the company he is promoting and more details.

But he has been to Olubadan High School, Aperin; Adekile Godwill Grammar School; Aperin Boys High School, Aperin; Renescent High School, Aremo; Aperin Oniyere High School, Aperin; Islamic High School, Basorun; St. Louis Grammar School, Mokola; Loyola College and other big schools in Ibadan.

While some principals were able to turn him down diplomatically others could not.

I will keep you informed
Education / Oyo State Governor's Chief of Staff Wants Monopoly in WAEC/NECO Exam Registration by pophoney(m): 10:51pm On Nov 30, 2005
Funny as it sounds the Oyo State Governor’s Chief of Staff, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli has been going round secondary schools within Ibadan city intimidating and coercing the schools' principals with the threat that the Oyo State governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, is “interested in the business of registering their candidates online for WAEC / NECO Examinations” and that the schools must patronize his company.

He goes round schools during office hours, when he should be attending to government’s business, oppressing the principals and school officials with his paraphernalia of office and deceiving them into believing that he is there on behalf of the State governor with principals in Aperin, Agugu, Agodi, Gate and other areas of the city not having the gut to turn him down.

You may ask him how much is involved in the online registration of candidates for WAEC / NECO Examination to warrant the interest of a Governor’s Chief of Staff or a State Governor for that matter.

It is obvious that while other state government are mapping out strategies on how to reudce crime and poverty in the society, those in charge in Oyo state are going the other way, because most of the people involved in the business of WAEC / NECO SSCE online registration are self employed graduates trying to make end meets, cyber cafés and business centers.

Why on earth should the Sharafadeen Alli, a Governor’s chief of staff stoop low to be competing and depriving this set of people their means of livelihood since it is extremely difficult and impossible for them to compete with him.

This is a man that when he was the chairman of Ibadan North L.G. didn’t pay Primary School Teachers for Eleven (11) Months and couldn't point to any achievement when he was the Secretary to the State Government during the first two years of the present regime before his demotion for corrupt and retrogressive activities.

We are using this opportunity call on the Oyo State Government to carry out a meticulous investigation into this matter and call this man to order, to reassure the self employed and SMEs that their future and means of livelihood are of concern to this government. We also want well meaning Nigerians to prevail on him to keep his cool and let others survive.

That is an Interesting Piece.
Now can we say "Adultery saved his life" NOPE. It was just not his time to die.
Something seems to be wrong with him, he knows he is doing something wrong, always ready to confess to his wife and ask for forgiveness but never ready to repent.
Lord have mercy on his marriage
Romance / Re: I Married My Girlfriend Because She Got Pregnant by pophoney(m): 10:49pm On Nov 10, 2005
I got married at age 22 also and it has been five years now. We were in love (and still in love).
She got pregnant for me and I was happy that am going to be a father (millions cannot). the pregnancy made the wedding ceremony to be done at the time it was.
But you see, even if she was not pregnant at the time she was, She will definately be the one I will marry. Am happy with her and bless with two lovely kids. I will forever be grateful to God for marrying at the time I did.

Am happy to hear your love grows geometrically.

Romance / Re: [poll] Would You Prefer to Marry a Virgin? by pophoney(m): 12:53am On Nov 06, 2005
Your state of virginity may not necessarily determine the success of your marriage. The Key is Love, Understanding and Communication.
God will prefer u being a virgin and marry a virgin (undefiled bed)

You will only earn more respect from your hubby if he "met u intact" and u keep the respect only if u remain faithful.

My wifey was pregnant during our wedding.... my daughter told us oneday that "baby used to be someone's tommy during wedding, as she was in her mum's" that is quite funny and embrassing, but that is the story of her parents. We corrected her that it was wrong but she wasn't convinced rather confused, but I believe she will understand as she grows.

I do not think the problem is pregnant before marriage, rather it is SEX before marriage, as a great precent of pre-marital sex leads to pregnant before marriage or abortion for the unready.
Family / Re: Tell Us About Your Marriage by pophoney(m): 11:54pm On Nov 05, 2005
@ Layi, Conception was before the marriage, the child was born in wedlock at her time hale and not premature,
my wife couldn't rock and roll during the ceremonies as she might want to, it was cool all the same.

This is a summary:

How you met your husband or wife.
I met my wife at the university, I was 22 years old and she 21 when we meet and got married. Quite early by 9ja's standard.

- What attracted you to your husband or wife.
She was so caring and supportive. Her motherly way of relating with me bonded us.

- Who proposed marriage, and how.

I did but she just taught it is a joke, but when she missed her "period", she knows am serious.
How: Took her to a club, enjoy a lovely dinner, went about town and gave her a note expressing my feelings, with a mug and a teddy bear "ratty".

- Who opposed the marriage, and how you prevailed.
Nobody did, at least not to my face or knowledge. then that she is pregnant for me even doused all opposition

- The wedding, and the honeymoon Kiss
Had a court wedding, engagement, introduction and all the necessary marriage rites observed in yoruba land. Kissed at the Engagement ceremony, at the courtroom (in front of my father-in-law cheesy)
used an hotel as the moon, though the height of the "belle" really affected the licking of the honey. 4 weeks after, we have our first daughter.

- DO you think you made a mistake choosing your partner?
Nope, it is my best choice (even better than my choice of computer as career)

- How often you're tempted to be unfaithful and how often you fall Grin.
temptation comes and go, especially when there is a crack, some you fall, others you overcome.

- How long you think the marriage will last.
Forever by God's grace, we are both enjoying it.
My wife nicknamed me honey, and my children also call me honey, (never dad) We are bless with 2 smart kids (a daughter and a son).
