Also, if not for bandit or kidnapping, i don't see the reason why someone who has a car will be flying plane up and down. Waisting money and not enjoying the ride he bought. After 5years or ownership the person will barely hit 15k miles.

Truer words brotherly. If we have good roads and good mechanics here, cars will last multiple decades here in single ownership because we hardly rack up mileage here

If it was nicely done, you will not notice that it has been worked on. That's why they have vehicle history and vehicle titles abroad. We don't have such down here, however, our mechanics have a way of leaving their signatures on the engine

Had a good ride again with the beamer, to and fro aguata, anambra state. The RX was really not a match for the beamer, but hey, it was not a flawless victory

A big thanks to @kingreign the transmission overheating message did not come up and I didn't experience gear slipping. I can conclude that the issue was from the front bumper upgrade, it didn't leave room for ventilation, that was a fantastic diagnosis by kingreign and he created a ventilation space by force

I was in company of my colleague, who was driving a 2014 bmw x5 xdrive. The car really showed that it is a German machine, damn

sorry for quoting this, but can you explain in lay man term? Is the VIN value the same as what we used to have before? this change, did it affect only some years, and if so, which year? Has compromise stopped or did it stop for some year. Please, enlighten me

Yes you can pay higher than what I quoted,I mean the main money going to the FG acct(customs duty)

Good morning boss. Why is full duty for 2015 camry way cheaper than 2015 volvo s60 even though the camry has way more value than the 2015 volvo? You quoted 5.8m for full duty 2015 volvo s60 and here 3.7m for full duty camry. Please help and throw more light.

Also is there anything like paying higher fee than compromise to make higher money reflect on the clearing document but still less than full duty?

This is exactly the main reason why I want to do away with my corolla. I just had similar experience and though I didn't loose my car, I lost my gadgets worth over 3.5m.

This is really impressive. However, tricycles are majorly used for commercial purposes. So unless a body is buying fleet of fully electric tricycle and manage it as an organization, it won't be economical for single commercial use because the batteries take time to charge and that time is a valuable business time that a single user can not afford to waste in the day time unless you guarantee full day operation on a single charge. Another option is to have battery swapping stations. While a better option is hybrid, because we don't even have good power supply here.

thank God you're good now, definitely came with extra cost, but it's worth it... the prices of cars now are crazy.

Thanks a lot my brother. Thank God it was not stolen, they just didn't complete the money for the car and the owner didn't want to sell it. I had to balance part the money I know nothing about.

I didn't know that the real owner of the car was tracking the car and put the papers on alert. The seller sold the car to me with fake papers. This thread helped me to prove that I knew nothing about the car prio to date of sale. Apparently, they used the car for loan collateral, the story long but all sorted out now. I have all the valid papers now

Finally got my tinted permit and ecmr

It was a seamless process. I didn't want to stress myself and do it before, paid a VIO person to help me with the stress and the guy gave me fake ecmr and fake tinted permit. Thank God I am technologically sound, detected the fake paper in minutes

Got valid papers now.
