APCNig:ECO zone had a GDP 175B in 2017 and Nigeria had a GDP of 375B. |
So 8 West African Countries are planning to have a single currency: They Are Ivory Coast Population:30M GDP:60B Niger Population:21M GDP:8B Burkina Faso Population:19M GDP:12B Mali Population:18M GDP:15B Senegal Population:15M GDP:16B Benin Population:11M GDP:9B Togo Population:7M GDP:4B Guinea-Bissau Population:1.8M GDP:1.3B So in 2017 these eight countries had a combined population of 122,000,000 and a GDP of 125B. In 2017 Nigeria had a population of 190,000,000 and GDP of 375B. Wow, So Nigerias Economy is 3 Times that of the ECO region, but I foresee that the ECO region will surpass Nigeria in 10 Years tops, since they will now be functioning as a REAL nation with one currency and they currently have a proper structured system. For instance, the Gold that Ghana exports wont go to make some illiterates in Ivory Coast rich. And any cocoa that Ivory Coast exports wont make people in Benin Rich. And Mali wont be paying their government salaries from Kumasi taxes! And when Ghana eventually joins the total population would be 150 Million and The GDP would be 172B. Soooo. The Final ECO Zone would be 80% of Nigerias Population And 50% Of GDP. So how come some people saying that Lagos is bigger than ECO zone? ![]() |
orunto27:The solution is to expand the executive to more than 1 person. If say we had 7 people in a council, then all the major tribes would have a role in leadership. One northern illiterate would not control EFCC INEC SSS/DSS Military We would cease to have misfits vying to be president because of the opulence of being president! Tinubu doesn't want to be president because he wants a better Nigeria. Do you think Atiku/Tinubu would spend billions of Naira to sit on a council? |
mumumugu:If they can withdraw governors pension, they can fix the presidency. I honestly don't see the advantage of having one man be in charge of EFCC Military DSS/SSS INEC(yes he is charge of INEC) Are Africans really this stupid? |
LOL.Nigerians Give their Presidents UNLIMITED power. And when those presidents screw the country up they are wailing. IS not the president is the problem, its the system. We need to change the constitution so that we have a committee instead of a president..
|
mrvitalis:If we had a council of 12 people instead of a president: The north would secure no more than 7 positions IF they voted selfish. The SW would probably secure 3 positions. I ask u,do u think this is better than what we have now? |
mrvitalis:Yes If we have a President, then we have a competition to dominate. But if we had a council with multiple members, the SW and North would not be able to dominate. Also there would be no competition since the Presidency would not belong to a single region since its a committee and not a person who is in charge. |
orunto27:Can u explain this further. What am proposing is a committee of equal members serve as the Presidency. Are you saying Igbos would somehow ruin this? |
mrvitalis:Yes I remember you! ![]() I can't believe 200 Million people can't figure this out ![]() I wont stop posting till people start seing that am correct. |
According to our constitution there is a president and a useless Vice President. Because only one person can be president, this causes do-or-die politics and zoning. Why can't we rewrite the constitution to expand the presidency to say 5 or even 12 people? And get rid of the useless Vice President position. That way everybody can participate in the presidency,no matter where they are from! ![]() |
mrvitalis:As long as the ceremonial role has no elevated power and all members are equal in power and role. It's funny, iVe been saying this for years but its like no one understands what am saying! This would solve our problems. |
Ejhh. Why don't we just replace the presidency with a 12 seat council. So every zone can be represented in the leadership of Nigeria. What's the advantage of having ONE person as president! |
Wonderful.Nigerai Stepping up. ![]() |
Sooo. 1)Buhari traveled abroad WITHOUT passing on power to his VP. 2)Hes signing bills abroad 3)We don't know what he's doing abroad. 4)Buhari sacked 35 of Osinbajos Aides. Why doesnt Nigeria get rid of the presidency and replace it with a council? If we had a council , we wouldnt have a sick president travelling abroad and not tell anyone why he is abroad! Plus why do we have a VP if the VP has no role Just replace the President and VP with a 9 member council!!!!Why does a VP who has no function has 35 aides Just replace the President and VP with a 9 member council!!!!The reason why Nigeria is being run like a military regime is because you have an all powerful ethnic bigot who doesnt believe in democracy. Just rewrite the constitution and replace the president with a council of 5-9 equal members!! Its so bleeping simple! Why do we need a president when we can have a council!!!!!!! Mumus! Can someone tell me what benefit it is to have a president please? |
jayfolarin:I think Sowore biggest mistake is believing in Nigeria and Nigerians! |
Can someone tell me why Nigeria who has 6 Geopolitical zones and 200 million people has to rotate a president every eight years? Whats wrong with having a council so you can have Northerners and Southerners rule at the same time? Are 200 Million Nigerians this stupid as to not see that we should replace the president with a council? And what the bleep does anyone gain from having a president from their region? |
Allsingles:Sis,what do you mean by this exactly? |
CanadaOrBust:Lol. Maybe it was nothing!! |
chii8:But she waited in doorway for like 2 seconds then walked in. No press. Plus anoda bathroom deh inside house. |
CanadaOrBust:I see. I did find it strange too,and she didnt seem to be in a big rush, like running to the bathroom. But she was waiting outside for like a second or two. |
CanadaOrBust:Pressed? If you mean if she really had to go,it never look that way. Im 28 she 23. There is another bathroom but its further away, this bathroom is close to her room. Nothing special about the bathroom. We just cousins,i never grew up with her but i know her for 12 years. I know all her sisters/brothers and she know all my siblings. We close, very friendly. No weird history, just cousins.LOL! |
CanadaOrBust:On what abi? |
Hey guys. I need your opinion. I am a male,my cousin who is a girl came in the bathroom and was going to pee, while I was washing my face. I ran out the bathroom of course! ![]() What do you make of this? Is this something i should be concerned about? Or am I over reacting? |
Horus:Horus.Dont you know ppl in 9ja don't have data to watch 12 minute youtube videos! Thats why they so uninformed about the real world. |
ITbomb:Bros. Imagine we having a convo face to face and I ask you to explain something. And your response is "This is what I said,This is Not what I said". "I said Nothing about XYZ." Does that sound like a friendly response? ![]() |
ITbomb:Eh,did i insult you? You stated something about accrediting someone,I simply asked for what happens after you accredit them or how you accredit them. You even mention biometrics. And your reply is an insult? ![]() Cha! You people are archaic! |
ITbomb:So you accredit someone and then they use a paper ballot? Or does the accreditation actually use your biometrics to cast a vote?<-----I think this counts as electronic voting |
ITbomb:How does this prevent ballot stealing,ballot stuffing,incorrect counting? |
Kingosytex:You sound so intelligent! But you're saying that Nigeria is not ready for E-voting?! After 60 years of election chaos , violence, and irregularities you don't think Nigeria is ready for electronic voting? There are no obstacles: Power:-If the polling unit is off grid, use solar panels. Hardware/Software:We don't have to build the units,we can import them for the time being,"till we are ready to build the units" ![]() User familiarity:If people can use smart phones, they can operate an electronic voting machine. And someone who can't operate a simple touchscreen..................... Security:If Banks can keep your bank account safe, then why can't INEC keep their results safe! Now,what are your reasons for saying we are not ready? |
youngsahito:Bros dont you see. Bad Politicians and simple minded people are going to fight electronic voting. This is Nigeria's problem , a criminal leadership class and mumus as citizens. We have to somehow force electronic voting on INEC and not depend on these primitive minded to bring it about. |
Kingosytex:I knew there would be backwards people going to discourage it. I think Nigeria should also stop the sale of smart phones and computers, because we are not yet ready. We should go back to flip phones until we have 24/7 electricity and 100% 5G coverage. And when we have fiber optic internet in all 36 states then we can lift the ban on selling computers. ![]() Sha! |
Finally one of our leaders is making sense! Goodluck Jonathan has said that Nigeria should implement electronic voting and that there is no reason we should be using ballot boxes where people can steal them or alter them!! Can we all agree? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1VM_edUv1g |
