Once upon a time there was a Great empire in the lands of the Negros, spreading far and wide, how the mighty fallen the rise and fall of the ancient Benin Kingdom.

Just like the ancient Roman Empire the catholic church and present day Italy is not the only leftovers, Rome can even been seen today on some Roman inspired names like Machester etc...

During the rise of Benin the kingdom sure had some influence in Lagos but I know not how much was the influence but sentiments from within still see a hanging shadows of the ancient Benin Kingdom in Lagos.

Fast forward to about a 150 years ago the coming of the British missionaries and colonialist, the meeting of the Yorubas and the rest of Nigeria and the emergence of Lagos as the melting port of culture. The Igbos was very last tribe to arive Lagos, now who really gave Lagos the title no man's land.

Is it possible for the last people to arrive to give a name and it stuck, is that a sign of imperialism or some invisible hands are inspiring these moves.

Today whose land is Lagos, Yorubas, Benin, Aworis, or is Lagos a jointly shared city, Note here apart from the lands Igbos legally acquired, we have no hereditary claim to Lagos.

I made it clear that Igbos are legal occupants not natives, I'm not Aworis, Benin or Yoruba but all of you need to tell us the true owner or Lagos remains a no man's land or at best a shared city

That's geopolitical zone, which only have political dispensation, it has no other implication otherwise you will agree with me then that Kwara now is officially a fulani town

With this insinuation, we can reach a conclusion that Anambra state is a no man's land as it belongs to Southern people of Nigeria

These bloody illiterates and their obsession about Lagos, opening multiple threads about what is absolutely not their concern, Lagos this, Lagos that, your cravings about other people's lands only attest to the gluttonous and greedy nature of the Igbos. Very despicable and loathsome creatures, but don't worry you will all be put in your places. Na matter of time.

Our place is among kings and we have been put there already, so what are you saying, make logical arguments instead of these bitter insults, if you want to sell Lagos officially you can deal after ell US bought Alaska and Hongkong was once leased to UK not minding that someone once sold the entire Nigeria to Britain

So Anambra is no man's land but Lagos is right?

You people don't want your states to be called no man's land but can call other states no man's land.

Very funny set of people

Last time I checked Yoruba is different from Nigeria and AlaIgbo is different from Biafra, Python dance whatever it is, is as a result of a clash between Biafrans and Nigerians, this case right here is different because it will be Igbos vs Yorubas

SW only share boundary with SS and we have been good friends for decades...

I dont understand what you mean by Alaigbo cos the people that bear such names are strictly from SE.

Any igbo residing outside his region are merely a resident.. That's a fact

I asked about AlaIgbo becuse a great Yorubas once told me that some Yoruboid people are native to the city of Warri and if those are truly Yoruba town despite that you could have issues with the Ijaws on that, then it seems we already got a boundary becuase the Igbo people of Anioma could have close contacts with such Yoruboid group in Warri
