Are these not the same local players that plays CAF Champions league and Confederations cup for their Nigerian clubs and still end up getting out of the competition from the group stage?
They don't have anything to offer

This isn’t a function of better player.
The fact that they played in a better league and seeing them weekly in action on one side, patrotism and dedication to the nation of their birth is on another side.
Many of these European clubs are holding back their players and giving them conditions before representing their national side, tell me how we are going to get the best performance out of these foreign based players.

Moreover, the last 2 performance from these foreign based players against their opponents, what was the outcome?

Bros leave story.. Dem plenty. Even with the ones without clubs can do better with proper training. Iwobi Na player?? That one who’s always running everywhere on the field without bearing. Stringing passes na problem.
Balogun that one wey confidence level Na 40%. Ndidi de try but we can get more players who can win balls and stil make deadly passes.

Please don't put sentiment analyse logically.

Thank you

Well I don't see a huge gap between 9ja player's playing in Europe and the ones playing.

Because in the end our current super eagles is a failed team

Loud am well, aside from ndidi and a few in a real tryouts almost all the super eagles players will be dropped.

Imagine Leon balogun can't break into brithon first eleven.he had to be sold off.

Etebo can't break into Stoke first team he had to be loaned out.

Nothing to write home about, ihenacho

Isaac success dead and gone away.

Samuel chukwueze no longer a regular starter.

Henry onyekuru na scam he was chased out.

Iwobi is going the Victor Moses route. And will be expendable when a new coach who doesn't use wing back takes over.

Only Nigeria na I take see say, Mikel na defensive midfielder for Chelsea but he plays 10 role for Nigeria.

This case is very debatable.

Have you ever traveled to another African country to support your local team or any Nigeria team player in the caf champions league.

Ask yourself why they always win at home then lose away.

Good analysis. These players cldn’t break into first team for their clubs. Of course those coaches aren’t stupid. They found more better options; reason they had to drop most of them to fix in one who can do their jobs and still add more to their tricks.

Imagine a player who can string passes and still tackle over one who can’t tackle but can string passes?

Foreign base! Foreign base! Na the name wey dem de take scam us be that.

Is Brighton a better team than Rangers of Scotland, who just won the Scottish league with Balogun a regular for most of the season as Rangers dominated the league and winning with more 4 matches to play?

You are talking nonsense.

Firstly, no European or even Mongolian club can hold back players or give them conditions before representing their national side in a FIFA calendar match. There are FIFA rules that will fine them.

Secondly, if you are talking about last 2 performance of foreign-based players, tell us the outcome home-based players have achieved in their last 20 performances.

Brother I watch anything soccer on DStv
I watch the Scottish league from day one, that league is equivalent to English Sunday league in terms of intensity, men be playing like girls in that league

Ask yourself why Celtics win the league year in and year out but never make it pass group stage in Champions league

No, my knowledge is based on being well-informed and logical.

Next time, do no fall for foolish headlines of journalists. Try and read and comprehend news from reliable sources.

In your third link above, if you actually read it, you would have read:

"FIFA said last month that clubs are not expected to release players if there is a "mandatory period of quarantine or self-isolation of at least five days upon arrival" in the country where the club is located or the country where the match is taking place."

FIFA ffffucking makes the rules, darling. Not European clubs.

The point is:

What has been the achievements of home-based players for Nigeria in the last circa 5 years compared to foreign-based players to declare the former is worth replacing the latter to represent Nigeria for ANC or WC?

Tell me what are the achievements of home-based players in CAN, WAFU, ACL etc. that shows they are worthy as the main base for selection to represent Nigeria instead of the foreign-based players.
