Back to Land issue .....Land bought by xXxX in 1999 for 5m naira sold for 280m in March 2021 .... (22 Years) ....the land is directly in the express a ring road ....in 1999 5 m was like 50000 dollars now 280m 460,000 dollars....Land remains the sure banker ....in a country with exploding population and huge need for housing .....Dangote cement is a pointer to that fact ...PAT of 265 bn naira above zenith bank PAT.

100 Shares = 1 unit

i dont think this calculation is correct

is the Dividend paid per Unit or Per shares ??

will like others to throw more light to this

CC: Emmanuelewumi

thanks

Its correct and as simple as he said it. 1 unit is 1 share. 10,000 units X 8.1 dividend declared = N81,000

As said earlier, no WHT so all the dividend is your to keep.

If we are to go by the closing price of 68. 60 per share closing price for Friday 19/03/21 which was the last trading day, that is about 11.8% dividend yield.

When is the best time to buy?

Confusion don't catch me wey want explain again...

At that price N68.60.

10,0000 unit = N689,000

The dividend is N8.1 X 10,000 = N81,000

Please what % of N689,000 is N81,000?

But please lets put an end to the arguments and bickering. Back to T-bills and Bonds.

100 shares is 100 units so if you purchase 100 you receive N8.10 × 100.
