All these people you guys are saying want to hijack it, where were they when NNPC recruited? Why didn't they hijack it?

Why do you think the recruitment took that long? I had an insider in NNPC who mentioned how there was so much pressure to hijack it and get majority of the slots by politicians.

I heard the delay was due to a pending court case. If they didn't hijack NNPC that was an open recruitment, how come it's this one that is easy to hijack. During that time there were lots of rumours that it had been hijacked as well just like most people are saying here now. But it didn't turn out that way.

I don’t think their 17 storey building is a factor in this recruitment. They are just going to employ the number of staff they need and most likely rent out over 60% of the space. Eg UBA building is not 100% occupied by UBA, there are several other organizations in it.

If you check the advert again you will realise it was specifically stated that the location is Bayelsa.

Yes, because that's their HQ..
But their workers do get posted outside that state.

With due respect, I disagree with this in the sense that wabote cannot/will not refuse to give aso vila their share.when recruitment like this is happening, aso vila(politicians) are already given their slots.there is nothing like hijacking again. Some percentage was given to aso vila while remaining is already brought to the public. It's only if the aso lwants more which I think it's not possible but it can never happen that aso vila will not have share in such recruitment.

Apparently, people here just love speculating what will favour them and passing it as fact or information.

Even the ones that want their connections to still maintain slots will start arguing in favour of nepotism.
