login and upgrade to course by course. It costs around $160 or thereabout... you dont need to send additional transcript to them.

Sorry please, for immigration purposes what option should a WES applicant select? Should it be a course by course assessment as well?

Thanks alot for your response. I appreciate.

I've tried some computer delivered listening tests, and finished before the allotted time. I just clicked most of the answers but wrote some on paper first before typing in, because I didn't want to lose any information while typing.

On test day, can finishing before the time the case? Is the timing independent of which recording is being played or i can influence that speed? I'm asking so I'll know if I'm to perfect typing straight unto the computer or continue with my paper-first approach.

I look forward to all responses. Thanks alot team

Proffessorr:

Computer-delivered test has the functionality of word count in the writing test. So you don’t have to bother about counting the number of words you’ve written per time. Also, you don’t have to worry about an illegible handwriting.

In the reading section of a Computer-delivered test, you save more time as you don’t have to erase wrong answers. You simply click or drag answers on the computer screen.
Also, a large part of the passages are shown on the left hand side of computer screen while the questions are the right hand side. Thus, making it easier for you to quickly search through/navigate.

You can highlight any part of a passage on the computer screen by simply right clicking and selecting the option. So, that benefit is not limited to pen and paper test only.

Hope these few points are helpful.

You can PM to join my study group. Holds virtually everyday 9pm.

To your question, you've to do the 3 modules if you want it to be evaluated because if you do just 2 Wes will return it as incomplete and again BSC will only give you transcript with no certificate if you option to do just 2 modules. For now, it's only Wes that evaluates BCS. CES, and others doesn't. It stated categorically on their website. Not sure of ICES though. And by the way evaluation with ICES takes about 30 weeks now

Please I am about to apply for the bsc certification examinations, I was on their website and I saw apply as a student, graduate and professional all these got me confused. Please I will like pointers on how to go along with my registration

Just deal with them. It is around N53K from getting the transcript to dispatching to WES. Verification no concern you!

Good morning experts in the house, I need advice please. I am 32 years old with a professional degree, single for now with no sibling or relative in Canada. My CRS score is around 450. My fiancee is rounding up her masters program in Nigeria.

What can I do to boost my CRS score as age is already not favourable. Thanks.

Let your fiancée apply as the primary applicant as soon as she's done with her masters. She can start to prepare for ielts asap. You both can decide to get married before entering the pool or after her AOR, otherwise you can write French to boost your score

If you type very fast and are very conversant with using a computer/mouse, then I'll advise you take the computer based test.

British Council has several computer based practice test online. The format is exactly the same as the real exam, the only difference is that in the exam, you are given a headphone and it's in a controller environment.

https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/take-ielts/prepare/computer-delivered-ielts/practice-tests/listening

You can find other practice test here:

Thank you for this. I appreciate you

Hi guys,
I am new here and would like to take path in this journey to greener pastures..

I have a question please, what are the chances of someone with an evaluation score of 435 to make it to the end and get that golden mail?

Does NYSC count as work experience?
I have internship as a student of 6 months at 4 different companies totaling 2 years, does it count as work experience?

Hello House,

Happy Sunday All.

Pls concerning POF, is it okay to still have regular inflows into a savings account within the last three months prior to submission as required by CIC. Note that there won't be any outflow at all. I just want to be sure it won't negate the 90 day pre ITA rule.

Thanks

reasonable inflows like from your salary. You cannot be earning 300k and depositing 800k monthly without explaining.

Yes, I get your point. The inflows I'm talking about are the regular savings i make from my salary account into my savings acct every month and it's not significant. I hope that's fine.

Hello house, I want to use this medium to appeal on behalf of every participant on the sister platform (provincial nominee program hopeful) and the management of the main platform (federal skilled workers program for express entry) to please re-open the (pnp) thread that has been closed for the interest of those that are benefiting from the platform.
I believe in oneness spirit that gave birth to a thread like this and how helpful it has been for as many that has made their way to the maple land (canada).
I will be glad if the management of the federal skilled workers platform can reopen the pnp thread in order for many voice to be heard and many issues relating to relocation be resolved.
God Almighty will bless each and everyone of us, we will all fulfill purpose and destiny in Jesus name.
Thanks for your kind concern and support.

the thread was abused and turned to telegram/WhatsApp group sharing thread. Well just wise asked people to stop and they refused to listen. For pnp visit the websites of the provinces. Some choose from pool, some you apply. Some you need job offer etc.

You'll need to practice without paper. Everything done on the screen. Remember losing more than 4 questions in listening will bring down your CRS score to 420

Nairalanders Advice/what to do is needed

Since the beginning of this year, I wanted to pay for wes so I can send my transcript to them via my school. I'm gunning for 2 or more certificate point through my Bsc and ond I did. But the issue now is my university bsc is on strike, nasu strike is still ongoing despite ban lifting at national.my school AAU is still on strike via nasu. And I'm hearing that ASUP(polytechnic) non academic will soon join them next month April 5th.

The issue now is that I intend to send my transcript for ond to wes, that means I have to pay for wes evaluation and upload my ond cert and transcript first since they re not yet on strike. Will it affect me..since I'm gunning for 2 or more cert, and I'm not posting both the bsc and ond at same time in my profile for evaluation.. If I pay for wes now and start my ond evaluation first since my bsc AAU is on strike, pending on when de resume.will it still come out as 2 or more certificate if I evaluate bsc later when strike is uplifted.
Is there a time frame for wes evaluation if youve paid.
Pls I just need a well detailed advice on what to do here as I'm confused.
Thanks in anticipation NL friends..

The main thing is can I pay for wes and send only my ond transcript for now while I wait for university to call of their Nash strike??
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Wishlist: 9:06pm On Mar 21, 2021
While filling your application on the WES site, indicate you'd be evaluating two documents; on the appropriate portal indicate the transcripts you'd be evaluating: BsC and OND in your case.

Arrange for the available transcripts to be sent while you wait for the other to be sent after the strike is called off.

No it won't affect you, it'd save you from paying another fee for a second degree to be evaluated.

No, I don't think there's a time frame or limit for sending scripts after you've paid, you'd be given reminders, speaking from my experience though.

Yes you can do according to your last paragraph.

Couple of years ago, the CRS cut off point was around 430. Nowadays, cut off point is around 470. So you should explore ways to increase your CRS score.

What did you score in your IELTS? If CLB 9 or less, try and rewrite IELTS and aim to max it out (CLB10).

What's your highest educational qualification? If a BSc, see if you can do a quick one year MSc.

Can you dedicate some months to learn French and write the TEF?

I have maximum scores from every section of IELTS. I have a MSc. What about the experience I listed, does it count?

What level of French is required to get a Reasonable score? I assume at least a B1 and that would take at least 9 months if I am not mistaking?
