If Ole was in Lampard's position, I am certain the argument here would have been that the season is not yet over and that we are in the last 16 of the UCL...There's always an excuse for the man.

Ordinary 1 or 2 straight matches ole might lose, he'll be under scrutiny, saying they might sack him and before you know, he'll go on 5 match winning run. Lol. If na you, will you sack such a coach? Did lampard have such a run after he had a purple patch this season?

This is to tell you that while lampard deserved the sack mid season, ole doesnt deserve it.

Nobody is doubting the bolded, that's why una board suppose catch head sack/relieve him end of season. He doesn't deserve to be in man u after his contract. But like I said (or asked), what is the justification for sacking ole NOW? Because he exited champions league group stage?
Do you know man city, even with their star studded squad and over £200m spent then finished 3rd in their Ucl group yet their coach wasn't sacked cos of that, and that's because they were still in contention for top4 then. Wen they relieved mancini was after the season ended. That's how it should be done.

If ole was in arsenal, Liverpool or Aston Villa position presently, then he's justified to be sacked, not wen he's 2nd.

I think Bruno has the best chance of getting in the starting XI. Rashford will at least make the bench (for Nani) and Shaw can also make the bench.

Don’t think Pogba will fit in, despite his skill and quality. Those midfielders, apart from having quality on the ball, work hard- especially without the ball. And when you throw in a slow and immobile player in their midst, it kills their rhythm and creates holes that opponents can exploit. If Pogba can match their energy his chances will improve.

De Gea can also make the bench.
Martial, no.
McTom, no.
Fred, mba.
Maguire, heck no.

Lol. For me Bruno will only make the bench ahead of Fletcher. I dont see who he replaces there, he is competing with Rooney and Scholes in that XI, for me both are a notch higher than him.
For me Pogba doesn't get in either but good for the bench ahead of Anderson.
DDG bench.
Maguire might make the bench as he is a more natural CB than Brown and Oshea.
Martial will not make that bench ahead of Saha.

For me AWB will not make the bench. Brown and Oshea are better than him in my books.
Greenwood will bee a squad member.
Rashford bench ahead of Nani (debatable though).

For me the combined team will be that that starting XI remain the same.

Truthfully, I hardly see any pattern tho. Sometimes, I hardly see training ground moves. Just normal players opening and passes.
It's like players or midfielders, make the pass after the run of attacker
I hardly see that synergy of understanding, that you'll know that this is what was done on training ground routine.

Having said that, I think you’re viewing Scholes through blue tinted glasses.

In 2008, Scholes was 34 years o. His influence in the team was on the decline already although he does chip in good performances.

Assess him based on the form that he was in at that time, not his whole career.

Its just the technical players you have above the rest team not in top 5 that make you think ole play ball possession, in reality you don’t play ball possession. Your struggle to keep possesion for two minutes all the time when they play.
