It is because some black people, Africans in particular, suffer from inferiority complex. They subconsciously hate themselves and their own race. The see good in white skin and believe white people to be the 'master race'.

'Diluting' the mix, by marrying white and having mixed race children, is therefore seen as genetic upgrading for those type of black folks.

No disrespect to anyone but I personally find black women the most attractive women in the world by far. Their feature always stand out stunningly against their darker skin in ways white complexion can never facilitate.

I can't intentionally date or marry a white woman and I don't want mixed race kids deliberately as my preference is to have kids that look like me and my black partner completely but one can never preclude fining love in any colour.

Black people and black families are the most beautiful to me but that is my personal opinion I am sure others will reject.

It's a free world at the end of the day but it is nauseating when some gush over black and white marriages and the offspring their union produce as if that is the best and most superior combination to seek or celebrate. Tragic to be honest.

My short time visiting Nigeria I got a sample when I was looking for Black dolls to purchase in the stores and there were none to be found... when I asked why I was told no one would purchase them if they were there. I couldn’t understand how in a majority Black country how white dolls could be the popular choice except that white supremacy was very much ingrained in the psyche of the people.

And what you said about wanting kids who look like you is important. Black people who always gush over interracial couples/mixed kids deep down hate their looks and having children with dark skin or African associated features is something they would happily avoid. Mixed kids represent “goals” to them.

One day I pray this mindset is far behind our people.
