I'd make this as short as possible. If the military says they killed unknown Gunmen at Aba, where are the "guns" recovered?

We all know how Nigerian security agencies like to show off with weapons of criminals they apprehend; even non criminals, they place arms on them. But I've been going through reports and the pictures they released of the alleged "Gunmen" slaughtered and I can't see one single evidence. All I see are people with ordinary civilian clothes, killed and stripped. Which makes me ask; WHERE ARE THE GUNS RECOVERED FROM THE GUNMEN?

Hope the Nigerian army have not killed another set of innocent civilians, then pinned crimes or names on them to drive home a narrative?

Modified

Having waited for answers especially from those supporting the army and trying to spin this as usual both on this thread and BehindIPOB 's thread, here's my verdict

Those were not gunmen. Those were randomly targeted Igbo youths killed and framed and the Igbos and their leaders would be very foolish, if they don't speak against this now and ask for irrefutable proof those were indeed not innocent men killed by the army to make a statement.

If this is left to stand, even you defending this atrocity by the army may one day be at the receiving end of their barrel- killed to project agenda and propaganda. Perhaps that day, you can take them through your nairaland account and show them your posts showing solidarity!

I'm not arguing this. I'm saying what's the evidence they are indeed the "unknown gunmen"?

You are the very big fool if you think everyone who shows concern is IPOB. I'm talking precedence and you're talking bullshit!

I'm raising awareness to this so no one abducts and kills you extrajudicially one day then tag you "unknown gunman". I'm asking a simple question. Where are the guns? How can you tag people without guns gunmen? That said, since when did wearing charms become a crime?

Stop supporting nonsense. A call to put the records right should never be seen as call to war. Stop this nonsense!

That's what I fear happened! Unfortunately, Nigerians especially the south are so stupid! Speak up against creating a precedence which is becoming a norm!

How do you tag people gun men without guns?!

So the Army killed 16 men but could not recover a single weapon? What did 16 men attack Army with? Their bare hands?

The Army just went about killing civilians like they usually do

That shouldn’t matter what matters is people where killed why?
Even if they were gunmen, why not prosecute and not shoot on sight

Soldiers actually released a video yesterday Nairaland should make uploading videos possible.
for those saying the photos are fake news. But the video is too graphic to share on my YouTube channel. And Facebook might also strike u. But let me share the pics. Unknown gun men were killed in Aba by the Nigerian army.

Nnamdi Kanu shouldn't have denied his men killed

They also put 7 leaves in their pocket as odeshi protection.

U can see Biafra emblem on the floor.

If they were clearly gunmen and had opened fire at the soldiers, the soldiers are by the rules of engagement authorized to return fire. That's "if they attacked the soldiers"! But a situation where they just killed some people, tagged them anything they like simply because the dead can't talk should be investigated! Gun men without guns? Really?

If people begin to hunt down security agents for revenge how would that be?

Seriously Bro? 7 leaves in their pocket as protection? Really? Then for some reason, 16 men (they were actually more) decided to attack a military checkpoint where AK47 wielding soldiers are stationed with a shotgun whose bullets can't travel more than 50 meters and three cutlasses.

Make it make sense to me Bro

Someone just uploaded a picture of a shotgun and 2 machetes allegedly "recovered" by the army and again I ask. One Shotgun to attack a military outpost? Really? Did they intend to share the gun amongst themselves to fire each bullet in the gun's chamber?

Going by the army's description of the events, the army alleges the assailants were more but they could only manage to kill 16!

Let's make it make sense. Let's say indeed the men went to "attack" the army post, Some how, out of 16 men gunned down by the military, they had only a shotgun and 2 machetes to share amongst themselves? Also, since when did machetes become a firearm? Does it make sense to you?

The story is so stupid, even a child won't fall for it. Unfortunately we have mob mentality in Nigeria especially some southern elements who would never ask critical questions!

I still hope someone can come make this make sense to me though; How over 16 "gunmen" who "attacked" a military post, did so with one shotgun and 2 machetes. Perhaps they had hoped to stump the armed soldiers to death with their feet?

like seriously I am too good at forecasting events, like seriously I should plan to open my own church soonest.

u ipob miscreants are too slow n very easy to predict your next statement n your next move.
just imagine if I could predict your next move n statement without any military experience, don't u think those with military experience n exposure will do better?

last week when u ipob miscreants were happy the unknown gunmen were killing security operatives n u were jubilating all over the internet with lines like

God bless unknown gunmen
more to come
zoo security operatives in trouble n co.

I wrote something that u people only want to use the same stale narrative that failed u in oyigbo.
u kill security operatives and u jubilate n name the killer's unknown gunmen but when soldiers arrive to kill unknown gunmen u will label the same unknown gunmen "innocent citizens"....."harmless citizens"....."our brothers" .....n co.

irrespective of your defence line, the soldiers kill unknown gunmen n I believe u shouldn't b worried by now cos they are unknown gunmen n nobody knows them.

Nnamdi Kanu dropped a line for anyone to call once they see any checkpoints n later security operatives starts dieing at different checkpoint n u believe people are dumb not to know how far.

don't worry Nnamdi Kanu said he's ready to sacrifice 5 million Igbos,I think he should b on btw 100-300 now so we still have more to go.

don't forget 3 million souls died during Ojukwu own sacrifice n life continues

python dance
oyigbo
16 of yesterday.

fools have been dieing n different families grieving but Nnamdi Kanu isn't baffled, your eye go soon clear
