The Athletic wrote a piece on Kanu this time around(after the one on Mikel) as part of their cult hero series.
Didn't know Wenger was after Kanu for 6 months
Lee Dixon says Kanu was just as talented as Bergkamp.
Dude was a monster in training

Brazil went with a second string of players. Guess they lacked common sense.

To you confederations cup is bigger than the World Cup.

It doesn’t take anything away from the competition because others brought their best.

World Cup is bigger. Likewise FIFA Conferation is bigger than Laliga. EOD

Common sense should just be applied. Is Laliga bigger than Europe cup to start with?

You are right...Common sense should be applied.. That's why I directed the question to you; Define bigger!

Bigger can be relative!
How is one competition bigger than another? in terms of viewership? Revenue? Popularity? What exactly??

And what exactly is Europe cup?

Mad o! grin ..

But only Gabe is ours as it stands..
Achiuwa should be easy to get too, since he was born here..
But u see Bam and Vic eh! let's land them, and maybe only USA will present a better squad than us at the tournament...

I just hope none of the teams our players are in make it to the final....So they won't give excuse for missing the Olympics

That holy trinity (Ladipo, Bam and Iggy) haven't declared for us too. Well not yet. But the others especially Gabriel Vincent is ours. Gabe has dorned our jersey already and what a player he is.

But mehn... If we do land BAM-TheBomber and then Ladipo of all people.. Omo!!! Even the USA should see us as a serious mega threat.

Naija BBall isn't dulling at all. cool

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TARIBO!
A 1997/98 UEFA Cup winner, the former Nigerian defender turns 47 today

An Olympic Champion with Nigeria in 1996, he joined Inter from the French club Auxerre in 1997 and went on to wear the Nerazzurri shirt for two seasons. A real physical presence and a strong character, he scored twice in 65 matches for the Club. Most notably, he made a significant contribution to Inter’s 1997/98 UEFA Cup triumph, scoring a decisive goal against Schalke 04 at the quarter-final stage.

best birthday wishes to Taribo West, who is celebrating turning 47 today!
Happy birthday Pastor Taribo West...but football damn funny, this guy was on the bench for Emmanuel Teberen during Mauritius 93 who was a better defender but fizzled out.

You don't need to direct the question to me if you used it in the context of the argument on ground.

Is Laliga bigger than European cup? That should be a very simple question.

Na wa for u ooo grin but u are right sha. Victor makes Miami a favorite now when before they were barely picked for the playoffs.

Every great team needs two superstars and Bam and Victor can provide us that.

Defensive midfielders in general are underrated

When Xavi and iniesta David Silva and co where being praised for Spain World Cup success how many people praised what Busquets did ?
