A Nigerian female undergraduate has shared photos and video of herself doing manual labour at a building construction site, IgbereTV reports.

In a Twitter post she made on Friday, March 26 @02franx shared pictures of herself with a head pan and flanked by male labour workers at a construction site.

She captioned it:

Truly the future is female. Big ups to her. It is funny how the guy in the last picture had to hide his face from the camera. In what ever you do, never despise Little beginnings.

But see as her clothes neat pass other guys who are the real labourer.Site work na die.Na you go help yourself with pan filled with mixed cement or sand and granite come climb staircase come carry 300 blocks join for continuous 12hours and na #1k per day.

I have seen a lot of females doing this sort of work before. A whole lot! Young and old!

There is nothing special about this.

I did more than this when I was an undergraduate and I'm certain many other male undergraduate students did. So, why celebrate this?

Since these women claim that they are equal to men, then no attention should be paid to this, the same way this wouldn't get any attention if it was a male student doing it.
