NFF has refuted Iwobi's COVID results. He is set to take a second test once he arrives Lagos.
That actually happened to my wife's uncle. He is based in the US, he went home and they gave him a positive covid result, man nearly had a panic attack. Came back to the states, negative results and he didn't take any treatment, so let's hope for the best for Iwobi. Cos if Iwobi get am, am sure other folks in our team would have it too. Players wey train together, hug themselves, tackle themselves etc Hopefully na false positive Benin people give.

Francis Ngannou ladies and gentlemen. The African take over of UFC continues. He joins Israel Adesanya and kamaru Usman as a trident of African champions. If this guy corners me somewhere I might just start crying grin

Dude lacks good ball control oga same with pace
Lol grin. It's not sentiment. I'm not attracted to any particular Nigerian player. I'm Osimhen's big fan as well as Nacho, Moffi, Simi. Guy, Onuachu is a Calvert lewin. It will just take a move to a better club to fine tune him to the next level. When I say ball control, I do not mean skillful touches, I mean strong ball handling. The guy is growing into a reliable dirty striker.

Thank you, my dear! He’s still the same sluggish player with poor first touch and extremely poor ball control.

I don’t think Osihmen received enough credit for that goal.

We should not let that Onuachu goal deceive us. His all round play is too poor to lead an attack for us. He can come in to use his aerial strength that's all.

I totally agree with you on Aina and Chukwueze, but the MOM for yesterday was Osihmen. Other players who played well include:
Zaidu
Onyekuru
Ndidi
Balogun

Ekong was average at best and I didn’t see much of Aribo. I was actually surprised that Rohr let Aina played as long as he did. I was expecting a change at the beginning of the the second half with Ebuehi coming in. And talking about Ebuehi, I really don’t know what that man did to Rohr. He rarely ever plays Ebuehi but anytime he plays , he shines. And it’s strange because it was Rohr who discovered Ebuehi.

O pari

12large1:
I think we played well today irrespective of the scoreline. We created chances, hit the cross bar, shots on targets despite already qualifying with 2 games to spare. The most impressive player on the pitch was "Zaidu" and ironically he is the only one playing at the last 8 of the Champions league. - The exact reason why I always advocate for our players to play at the best clubs in the world. There's Quality and there's Quantity.

Ola Aina was disappointing I was one of his biggest advocate at RB but if he keep playing this way, he will remain a back up to ebuehi and Awaziem at rb. Akpoguma at RB is a No no

Zaidu - MOM for me was world class today

Ekong and Balogun were shaky, uncomfortable with the ball but sadly there are no better replacement for now so we have no choice

Chukwueze - Disappointing talented but unprofessional.

The best players on the pitch today

1) Zaidu MoM
2) Onyekuru I was very impressed by him and to me he is better than Kalu, Simon, at LW

my brother the matter tire me. if olise is yet to accept playing for us or didnt had a positive discussion with the nff and rohr to that regards i see no reason he will be listed as one of the players on standby. also the current french u21 coach who took him to toulon tournament with the country's u18 side tried convincing him to be part of his team in the ongoing uefa u21 chmapiionship which the lad rejected

negativity hv been the norms for some here but i will advise we keep calm and see how events unfold in coming months. for rohr and the nff to keep him on standby in the recent call up i believe they had a positive response from him and his management team

the likes of tammy, adarabioyo, tomori, eze were never listed in any of the teams list prior to their affirmation to england so i see no reason the nff and rohr will rush in doing that without having a concrete agreement with olise

True. Maybe he loves Nigeria and wants to play here. Though it sounds strange, but many diaspora Nigerians usually love the country more than those residing in the country.

not only that common sense will make him and his management team that he stands a better chance making a name for himself in international football with Nigeria than France

the french have alot of better and established midfielders both old and young so i believe that is the main reason why it seem he is leaning towards us

or are you expecting him to be daft like eze, tomori and others? cheesy cheesy cheesy

imagine eze not even starting games for the current english u21 side, that should be an eye opener to him and if i am to be pinnick or rohr i will decline his plea when he comes pleading to rep us

na tomori i pity pass cheesy cheesy cheesy

Did you know the efforts it took for him to even get a shot out from that awkward spot? Put Onuachu in that spot and he’ll miss the ball completely.

Awkward spot? He was facing the keeper while he shot while Onuachu put his head among a sea of heads to head the ball, which one was harder biko?

Please stop being silly. Has Onuachu missed any close range shot before? give me an example?

Even if you don't rate him, at least don't make yourself a sheep trying to discredit his goal.

NFF might have their flaws but that's a school boy error they will unlikely commit. If Olise's name was included without a go ahead from him then you can bet he would have denied us in a blink of an eye.

Tammy and Billing who we were only talking to strongly denounced us. Billing even went to the extent of telling us his siblings family history as if we were dragging that with him before and he was the one who reached out o!

This is also a point of personal pride for us. We won't just call up anybody without securing a firm commitment from the concerned player.

Nigeria is many things but we're most definitely not Mali and Benin who will call up players out of desperation.
