I can't imagine that these people won't mind flying APC ticket for 2023 given how much bile and venom they have been spewing on the party since its founding in 2013. Last Saturday Abia bye-election is a clear evidence that APC will have irreversibility nailed its own coffin onto final extinction if it ever experiments with Igbo candidacy in 2023. APC even stands a better chance in fielding a SS candidate than a SE one. If APC gives ticket to an Igbo man and he wins by any miracle, that will be the first time in the history of Nigeria that an incumbent president will defect from one party to another as such Igbo president is sure to defect to PDP at the slightest provocation. Igbos have their bodies, souls and spirits in PDP no matter how the party humiliates, cheats, represses, oppresses and derides them.
If PDP cannot give Igbos 2023 ticket despite all the costly sacrifices that tribe has blindly been making for the party since 1999 to the extent of even the political absurdity of insulting nearly every other tribe in defense of PDP, then any other party that thinks it can endear Igbos to itself by offering them 2023 ticket will be very naive and in fact silly for not first wondering why their beloved PDP is scared of giving them ticket in the first instance.
