Paul's gameplay is suspect I swear

If not for the goal, he would have had a bad game

Certainly not someone I will like to lead the line for Nigeria from the start

He scored a nice goal though

Lol on the basis of these 2 games, I agree. But it was Lesotho.

Lesotho was better than Benin, but it wasn't even about the opposition the way Ebuehi held possession and offered himself as a passing channel, not to talk about his attack and defence

I watched the 90 minutes replay of the Benin game and I didn’t see aina causing an error

Benin is a far better team than Lesotho

Superstars? It's only Nigerians that can refer to some players barely above average superstars. Calm down. grin

There is no team in Africa that can defeat this Super Eagles.
Only a few in the world at this moment.
This Nigerian team is a team of superstars!
The scary thing is that they are still very young!
If you didn't watch all the qualifiers (within and outside Africa) please don't spit trash on my page!

Aina had a goal and assist coming into this game so it was normal for him to start, but Rohr has eyes and I'm sure he saw this performance from Ebuehi

Lesotho played better than Benin that packed the bus for 90 minutes, they dominated our midfield in the first half, Benin had one shot on target the whole match, if our defenders went on holiday against Lesotho then they weren't even invited against Benin

This Thread sha. I keep seeing posts rating Ebuehi ahead of Aina and I wonder if I watched a different Match. I didn't see anything spectacular in his Play, but trust Dudes to exaggerate.

Onuachu was cussed to hell, two Goals in 2 Matches this Week no be Beans.

He struggled to control the ball, had a moment or two where a simple forward pass would have led to a goal scoring chance bt e killed it with his decision making

Scored a good goal bt imagine if nacho didnt give a forward pass

Well Its my opinion.. Nice game from balogun, ebuehi, ndidi and osimhen

So, we had Okoye man the post against Benin, and Uzoho man the post against Lesotho, with both goalies keeping clean sheets.

First of all, I am glad we have risen from the ashes of Akpeyi and Ezenwa, but I would genuinely like to know what you guys think of both players and the possibility of rotation between them.

Bear in mind, when I say 'rotation', I don't mean the way Enyeama and Ejide were rotated, but something with a little more equity. I genuinely feel like Ejide was shortchanged a lot in the team, because of Enyeama's brilliance, so, while I acknowledge how much of a legend Vincent is, I do feel a bit for Ejide.

So guys, what's your take on the Maduka-Uzoho GK rotation? If you can include their performances in the last two games in your analysis, factor their strengths and weaknesses, it would also be appreciated.

PS: If anyone thinks this should be a standalone topic outside of this thread, also signify.

A team that you could only score at the dying minutes of the game was worst than a team you almost beat 4-0

My opinion, though I Know many won’t agree
Aina > Ebuehi (but I’ll pick Ebuehi if counter attack is the plan)
Aribo > Etebo (but Etebo plays African football better)
Uzoho > Maduka ( I feel Maduka will become better with time but for now, he’s just lucky he hasn’t been exposed)
Anayo proved Rohr right about NPFL
Onuachu has really improved (he’s added that “Giroud” factor to the Afcon 2019 Onuachu)
Iwobi didn’t train yesterday probably wasn’t match fit, he’s done so much for me to criticize
Sadly, Iheanacho hasn’t still found his place in the team even with his quality
Rohr needs to experiment Balogun with other CBs
And finally, we need a Yaya Toure kind of player to pair Ndidi and a solid CB to pair Balogun
