Osimhen has good work rate but extremely wasteful in front of goal. Iheanacho and Onuachu would have scored most of the chances he fluffed.
The reason he had those chances in the first place was because of his press and him getting into good positions

I love ebuehi but he wasn't special today , I think some guys here just don't like aina

Calm down. How about you actually listen when someone makes a good point. The Benin side is definitely better than the Lesotho team in quality, but their quality is still quite low too. Perhaps Ebuehi looks better because he's playing a much weaker side. Just maybe. Give it a thought. Don't be too Nigerian for your own sake. cheesy

This Thread sha. I keep seeing posts rating Ebuehi ahead of Aina and I wonder if I watched a different Match. I didn't see anything spectacular in his Play, but trust Dudes to exaggerate.

Onuachu was cussed to hell, two Goals in 2 Matches this Week no be Beans.
I prefer aina to ebuehi but trust me I have no problem with rohr playing ebuehi as he is not a bad player

But you can see dudes here saying otherwise Haba

Na another game I watch ,looking for any opportunity to talk down on aina

Ebuehi trap ball ,ebuebi pass ball ,Na spectacular something grin

No. He's lacking in a lot of aspects to warrant that tag. Well-above average, surely. Borderline superstar, maybe I'll take that.

So, we had Okoye man the post against Benin, and Uzoho man the post against Lesotho, with both goalies keeping clean sheets.

First of all, I am glad we have risen from the ashes of Akpeyi and Ezenwa, but I would genuinely like to know what you guys think of both players and the possibility of rotation between them.

Bear in mind, when I say 'rotation', I don't mean the way Enyeama and Ejide were rotated, but something with a little more equity. I genuinely feel like Ejide was shortchanged a lot in the team, because of Enyeama's brilliance, so, while I acknowledge how much of a legend Vincent is, I do feel a bit for Ejide.

So guys, what's your take on the Maduka-Uzoho GK rotation? If you can include their performances in the last two games in your analysis, factor their strengths and weaknesses, it would also be appreciated.

Uzoho seemed more confident to me. Remember when Okoye caught the ball outside the 18 box due to pressure?

Ebuehi played better than Aina look at their individual performances, look at their passes and runs going forward, Benin and Lesotho are actually bad opposition but take your time and watch their individual performances

Ofcourse Osimhen is our best striker overall but he is wasteful in front of goal. He should learn to calm down and finish off chances intelligently.

Ebuehi is a solid Player, no doubt. Having two solid RBs is healthy for the Squad. Really hope Collins can step up to challenging Zanusi as well.

We don't need to condemn or bring down any of them. So cool Uzoho and Maduka are challenging as well. We need solid Squad, we are not there yet, slowly but surely we'll get there.

Chuks didn't have a good game, but he's immune to Criticism. Nacho didn't have a good Game either, but I see some Posts blaming Iwobi..... LOL!

Good one for Onuachu. Nigeria needs alternative strikers to Osimhen so that if Victor is unavailable or having a bad we always have someone to do the business. Onyekuru was decent hopefully this should boost his confidence to stake a claim in the team.

Overall nice professional performance not too much worries. The crew should now know serious hardwork lies ahead WC Qualifiers will be much harder but with determination and support from everyone qualifying for Qatar 2022 is achievable.

Yo Rohr weldone thinking because we are winning we won't talk about how you smuggled Musa into the match undecided weldone!

Friend, abeg some of us wey dey here go school small. The measure of performance is relative and not quite straightforward, as in performance for performance. And it's not fair to compare a player's performance against one team(bad in quality) and another player's performance against a worse team. That's not a solid support for your argument of who's better. Say something else abeg. Find another reason for a choice of one over the other And don't worry i'll take your advise under advisement. cheesy.

I think what Uzoho trumps Maduka in are not actually goalkeeping skills but personal skills that come with age like leadership, being vocal, command and confidence

Uzoho would a better choice for the moment but in 1 or 2 years Maduka will overtake him

Aina had a goal and assist coming into this game so it was normal for him to start, but Rohr has eyes and I'm sure he saw this performance from Ebuehi
You don't know Rohr. Ever since Ebuehi's injury he seems to have lose trust in him. He'd even play Awaziem or Shehu in his place of we're playing a serious match.
