One thing i like about todays game was our pressing. We pressed well, harassed and bullied lesotho for 90 mins. |

Gammfreak:For you to say this, It means Ebuehi is better., because he is even better at defending. I admire his footwork. Ebuehi is a natural fullback and understands the fullback role. He appears to have been built for that role. His transitions are seamless, and he is more assured on the ball. |

benji93:Ok, when I watch games especially Naija, I try to monitor players' performance and abilities. Now let me use an example from this last two matches to drive home my point. Uzoho and Okoye both faced a similar chance to their lower left at close range, medium speed. Okoye faced a header to his lower left from a Benin player, he parried the ball out for a corner. Uzoho faced a similar ball to his lower left as well, now instead of parring the ball out for a corner, he pushes it straight to a second Lesotho player who drives the ball straight into the net. Had the player not been offside, it would have been a goal for Lesotho. |

JohnBullMySon:Wth?? Okoye faced a weak header he should probably have saved and Uzoho faced a well taken free kick. I don't think that's a fair comparison |

Subzero047:Ebuehi had a good game no doubt, he seems to be more composed and is less likely to make mistakes. But again, we played Lesotho, it's not commensurate to Benin Republic. It's too early to conclude like that. |

I once criticized Onuachu but not any more, I'm now his number one fan. Omoh that shot nah one million. I am really happy that he is proving doubters wrong, including myself. Boy, he is a huge guy and he can cause all sorts of troubles for the opposition defenders with that frame. As for Ebuehi, he is a modern day fullback and he is really comfortable with the ball at his feet. He should however track back abit more when we lose possession. Aina is equally good but I will pick Ebuehi over him. |

Can CAF just kick this two out already??

JohnBullMySon:1. Stability in line with the idea i want to purvey is the ability to absorb pressure, without committing errors. 1b. He has what they are looking for, and it can be anything, and everything. 2. Study closely the goals the both conceded and you will conclude for yourself who marshalls the defense better and why the shouting helps. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by JohnBullMySon: 9:29pm On Mar 30, 2021 |
Olulong:First of all, that was a slow freekick, there was more reaction time than Uzoho's header. Also consider this, Okoye was in motion tracking the ball only to flip back to save the header, while Uzoho was facing a foward moving ball throughout. BTW headers are the most difficult thing to save Lastly, as a professional keeper. Saving a strike greater than 2yrds, you are expected to push the ball out because a rebound would be a goal, parring that ball straight out was just not it. |

Olulong:Benin Republic are not wise. What if they cannot prove what they claim? Why not play the game first and push for justice later? No one can say what can happen. Since they still have enough players and no authority held them back, CAF will just follow this technically and award the game to Sierra Leone. However, this will deeply affect their political relationship. COVID please go. We've had enough. |

To be honest, I still don't get the Osimhen hype. Dude wasted opportunity upon opportunity today. He did the same against Benin. Ighalo was far more lethal in converting chances in his time in the SE in my opinion. Osimhen really needs to up his game, pressing is not everything. If na pressing be the thing, Musa sef does a better job at that!. Osimhen should do better. We won't be getting this many chances against big teams abeg. Chukwueze na another wahala altogether. That guy seems to have regressed from the Chukwueze we used to know. Rohr should do fast and get us Lookman or any other decent RWF abeg. |

elunico:He was on a career threaten injury for the Serbia,Poland and England....i remembered talking to him to redraw from the team and try to take of himself from this injury as he was newly signed by benefica but his patriotism and his love for the team won't let him do such...he will always be my best RB for the team anytime anyday.... He is not even fully (100%) fit yet. |

Really love Ebuehi but he didn't do anything special today, neither did he do better than we have had from Aina. |

Glad to have Uzoho and Maduka, but Uzoho trumps Maduka, and should be our regular starter while Maduka starts from the bench. |

Curtisaxel10:Yap I agree. He should buckle up because with simy, Sadiq and terem waiting on the sideline, our 9 shirt is open for Grabs. As for Chukwueze, when lookman and Kalu returns, he will Rightfully drop to the bench |

Onauchu seems to be a more clinical finisher than Osimhen, though Osimhen is a better all round striker. |

andrewbaba44:He is still not fully fitt bro.......i remembered when the team physiotherapist went to see him in Portugal then it was an injury that could just make him forget about football....he is on rehabilitation in twente. His lack of fitness was the reason why benefica had to loan him ....after the ACL he had another injury |
