Income generating property is self explanatory.

For corporate bonds get in touch with your Stockbroker, United Capital, Lapo Microfinance, Primero Transport are the few that raised funds not quite long ago

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc Commercial Paper
We are pleased to inform you that MTN Nigeria Communications Plc (“MTN Nigeria” or “the Company”) is seeking to raise up to N100.0bn in the Series 3 and Series 4 issuance under its N200.0bn Commercial Paper (“CP”) Programme in order to support its working capital and for general corporate purposes.

MTN Nigeria is the leading telecommunications operator in the largest telecoms market in Africa. The Company is the largest mobile operator and undisputed market leader in Nigeria as measured by total mobile subscribers (c. 76.5m), active data users (c. 32.6m), revenue (almost 50.0% of industry) and profit pool. Nigeria offers an attractive telco market proposition as Africa’s largest economy and most populous country. Mobile voice and data subscription continues to be a major part of consumer spending, largely driven by increased adoption by the young population. It is important to note that in the prevailing COVID-19 environment, MTN Nigeria continues to sustainably strengthen its subscriber base, while customer voice and data usage remains resilient.

Oh okay.
Is it just the tenure that differentiates them?
What else does?

Treasury and bonds

Commercial papers are money market instruments.

Bonds are capital markets instruments and can be listed on the stock exchange

Bonds are stringent and involves clearance and approval from SEC.

I fired him ASAP, his inompetence stinks to high heaven.

How do you meet such tenant?
Arbitration?
What's was the ruling of this arbitration?
Is arbitration a court?

Such tenant will never pay, from experience.

Avoid the following tenants
- Contractors (They keep expecting millions from contracts that never happened, telling you how they know Sanwo-Olu and how his yet to pay for the road in Ikorodu or supplies they made to Alausa that are yet to be paid for)

- Business men (don't even make the mistake at all, before he says, "I am a bus....man", just tell him straight up, you don't give out your houses to business men, they are never truthful, mess up the house, give false information, bring more than the specified number of occupants the house can occupy)

- Pastors (it's a constant battle with them, telling church members that you are the reason for his lack of success, and when it time to pay, he tell you stories, that God will do a miracle. I would have mentioned churches but I'll let it pass)

- Lawyers (On no account should you lease to them)

- Artists ( You will spend more than the money you collected for damages and rent to put the house to a good taste, my property I lease to Asa in Surulere, I spent 950k to put the apartment in order before the current occupant could stay there)

In addition, ensure whoever you rent out the house to, their wives MUST be working. I learnt that here.
You have experienced a lot.

TB rate is 5% for 1yr, 2.5% for 6months and 1.3% for 3months. First bank staff gave me this figure this morning.
If this is true, then I'll look for plan B.

I have seen some monikers make brilliant contributions on this thread but the herd sadly won’t take them seriously because they are not one of the ‘gurus in the house’. People here need to learn to be open minded wink

I have seen brilliant points made by EarlyCareer and Jedisco in the past couple of days. A few weeks ago, Ositadima1 was making some very brilliant points on the oil and gas industry but nobody took him seriously grin

Some take Nairaland too serious. It's not about someone taking you seriously or not. I can barely keep up with my mentions on NL threads that interest me. I've had to limit the amount of time I spend on NL... I post on this thread in pulses as my free time permits. That's why my responses can be well delayed and come in groups.

I only chip in here from time to time to put paid to certain erroneous views before they start taking hold...

Last year, I made a series of posts when folks were wrongly comparing cost of living in the west to Nigeria which settled the matter. Soon after that was on the concept of nigerian women being 'useless'. Or when folks are blaming the truck pusher for the sorry state of the naira because he buys okrika clothes.

Of late, I've been majorly focused around crypt0. I remember telling folks who were littering this place with crypt0 news to move to another thread. Then when you and a few started referring to crypt0 traders as speculators or yahoo boys. That triggered me considering the fact that folks pushing that idea would see the NSE as an 'investment' option. Same NSE where well over 90% of the people who traded there over the last decade have lost. That's almost like ponzi.

The first thing I did then was to point out in January this year that the December NSE rally had bearish fundamentals. It didn't take long to play out. By March, most of them were rushing to sell their stocks at a loss. Pointing out that someone who invested $100 in FBNH stock 10 years ago will be left with $17 today was another fact difficult to argue against... If you notice, hasn't the talk of calling crypt0 investors being yahoo boys fizzled out too?

So the fact that on the rare occasions I posted here, I've not taken issues up that I didn't quell with facts should tell you something. Facts are facts, I stick to facts and stuff I know.

I totally agree!

But then, you master a market well enough, it works for you... Moreso one that is fundamentally based on demand and supply and quite circular in flow...

The principless of investing are still similar and cut across most aspects

Am I missing something? Where in my post did I equate crypto to Ponzi?. Can you please read my comment again, this time around, read it to clearly understand my point and not necessarily to reply. Thanks.

Stick to stuff you know. If you want to throw jabs at a market, limit it to one you know.
