Tell you friends, colleagues, family, neighbors and church members to invest in it
Jamestown123:
Good day ladies and gentlemen. Please is anyone here afraid of investing into agriculture? I think the best place to invest your money right now in Nigeria is agriculture. Due to food inflation going on Everytime now in Nigeria, I think it's safe to say agricultural investment is one of the best investment right now in Nigeria.
Now I have access to about 100 hectares of farm land in Benue state. It's in a safe community free from Fulani herdsmen issues and community crisis's.
So I'm hoping if anyone here is interested in investing into agriculture, can work with me in cultivating cassava and sesame seed in the land. You can fully fund the whole project if you want, all I have to do is make sure the land is available and also security is available. Workers and everything needed in the farm can be provided by me. My gain will just be 30% of the total profit made from the project. Please if interested you can asked me for more explanation and cost of starting everything thank you very much.

Kunle Alake of Dangote Industries LTD makes hundreds of millions as dividends from Dangote's companies. He is a well trusted employee of Dangote after spending about 25 years with him.

I am sure you will advise him to resign and start his own company bah.

The guy and his friends floated a bank which went under before joining Dangote, so he should go and gamble again

I agree with the bolded. The reason most house owners do not rent to them is lack of maintenance culture, prolonged delay in paying rents (business is down everytime) and over populating the house. A house for 5 people can end up having 18 people.

Some are truly nasty tenants but not all. My worst tenant is a business man and sincerely, he messed up the apartment.

I have seen employees who are financially literate and financially independent, I have also seen enterpreneurs that are financial illiterates.

I will advise us to read "Ordinary people, extraordinary wealth" by Eric Delman.

We have a situation where school bus drivers, firemen, soldiers, teachers, blue collar workers etc built portfolio running into millions of dollars for themselves.

Did we read about the janitor in a University who built a portfolio of about $8 million for herself and earning dividends of about $300,000 per annum.
The investment was used to set up an endowment fund and scholarship fund for poor students when she died, because she was childless

Unless it is passion or you dont know what to do with your time, there is no reason why you should be working for salary when you have N8bn worth of shares. Time is money. When you have money use it to buy yourself time.

They should go and form their own clubs in the name of being an entrepreneur. grin

Football na entrepreneurship na.
You're selling your skills in kicking a ball to millions of people across the world.

Why play for a club and collect salaries when you can form your own club and be making more money from ticket sales, TV broadcasts and betting. cool

A footballer negotiates how much you would pay him and the period of years he would play. He even add clauses and can request for transfer if he wants to leave. If he is a free agent he pockets all transfer fees for himself. This is aside other endorsements. Does that look like the workings of an employee?

Ronaldo makes almost a $1m per tweet. He has hotels and investments. Gerrad Pique has a football club in 3rd division.

But you are surprised that the lady earning dividends of N200 million is still an employee.

With N200 million every year, do you know how many Investment properties she will have, Investments in money market funds, Eurobonds and small businesses.

In fact 20% of her shares in Zenith bank were bought in the name of one of her Businesses under indirect holdings

If the entry barrier for owning football clubs was low, i'm very sure footballers would own clubs. Musicians form their own lables. Actors direct their movies. Why didnt they stay with the label or production outfit that signed them even after they amassed wealth?

Alake is an employee of Dangote Industries LTD, he collects salaries. He equally invested part of his salaries in most of Dangote's companies both listed and unlisted companies. Do you know that some of Dangote's friends and employees already have shares in Dangote Refinery

He is an employee, he is a bankable brand and also has a multiple streams of income. Wigwe gets about N100 million as salary but makes another N800 million as dividend from Access Bank.

Financial literacy, financial independence, diversification and multiple streams of income is what we should be preaching and not which is better betweens paid employment or self employment

That's where entrepreneurship comes in - you have to sell that idea to financiers or finance it yourself.
Your ball-kicking skills are only one element of the whole package.

Even when you are making the money while sleeping.

Majority of us work for money, that is the starting point for most people. But most will also die working for money.

If your passive income is twice or more of your active income, I think you are financially independent.

The status is dual.
In the UK, the tax authority treats them as employees.
In the EU they are generally considered employees as well.

He's on a short-term contract of employment in that case.
A contract for services, as it's generally termed in the UK.

We are products of habits and routine, do you know one of the reasons why people die few years after retirement?

Boredom.

Especially people who worked in the same organization for 30 years.

Sergio Ramos and Varane are teammates at Real Madrid. They are both central defenders. They are both World cup winners. They are both multiple champions league winners. Yet Sergio ramos earns twice as much as Varane. Why didnt they peg their salaries to their positions as you see corporations do? Can a bank pay two tellers doing the same job different diffrent salaries?
