The guy was better than ndidi at 2018 world cup, 2019 Anc and people still talking crap. Im.not saying that he is a better player than Ndidi tho
Excuse me sir, what metric have you use to arrive at your conclusion that Etebo played better than Ndidi at the 2018 world cup? I hope it isn't because of his uncessary dribbles and the own goal he gifted to Croatia, which was also the first goal Nigeria conceded in the tourney that you using to say he played better than Ndidi. Etebo has been known for excessive ball-hugging, burning energy in running to and fro the pitch without positional discipline. In the match against Lesotho he cost Nigeria many attacking opportunities by uncessary dribbles and ball-hugging. They were many cases that he could have passed the ball to a player in front of him that would have resulted to an attack which he wasted by passing the ball backwards, and he did this mostly in the first half, so I don't get this incessant hype I am seeing here. It is a good thing he scored though. He is a good player and I have nothing against him.

Bro Etebo had a better World Cup than Ndidi...giving Croatia first goal, just hearing it for the first time but you remember Ndidi gave Algeria the two goals in Afcon.

No doubt Ndidi is better but he hasn't done much for eagles like he is doing for Leicester.

All time DM performance in Super Eagles,Onazi is still ahead though some may find it funny but that's the fact.

Ndidi need to raise his game in SE like what we saw against Lesotho,so that he can break Muda Lawal and Sunday Olishe record.Honestly I see Ndidi as all time best eagles DM soon.

Our women’s team have been invited to another tournament in Basque, Spain where they will face Argentina, Venezuela and Basque Country (Euskadi). Excellent work by the NFF!

he played as a CM with Mikel playing as an AM in the friendly match against England prior to the world cup. He excelled in the game and even got the only goal for Nigeria.

Playing Iwobi in CM is suicide, do you know how many times he gives the ball away in a match?

Etebo was better at the 2018 world cup than Ndidi. Do not let recency bias cloud your judgment.

Really love the Jersey donned Jay Jay and rest Ex Eagles. Can NFF produce it as our 3rd Jersey?!

That's an old super Eagles jersey but the problem is that Nike didn't create it

he has played that position well in the past, and it seems he played there for Arsenal or Everton some time ago and didn't do badly. He can feature just in front of a DM like Ndidi in a 4-1-4-1 formation.

I believe he can play the position but let's be clear the last time he played there arsenal were put out of the fa cup by a championship side

you cannot blame him for his team losing a game because he played CM. It is like blaming him for Nigeria losing to England in the 2018 pre-world cup friendly because he played CM even though he played well and got a goal.

Yes that's right but he was poor on the day. Iwobi started on the wing and moved to the AMF position not CMF against England

Yes it does look nice but like I said another company created it and if Nike make a replica it would be stealing their intallectual idea.

the bolded is very unfounded. The first goal was a result of Mahrez's brilliance in going past Collins and hitting the ball across the face of goal which resulted in an own goal. It had nothing to do with Ndidi. Look Sir, I have respect for you so let's agree to disagree on this issue.

What led to dt freekick...a very rash needless tackle from ndidi..had it been it was "etebo", or npfl player or any oda player who d fans doesn't really like, replicated such tackle....d criticism would av been so brutal dt might lead to such player retiring untimely

Bro dt ndidi tackle was needless,absurd,dirty,illogical,obnoxious,unforgiving.... Cos dt stuff pain me gan..it was an avoidable mistake smiley

Either of the two of Iwobi and Michael Olise can play CM while the other plays AM or vice versa. That will also improve the offensive play, while Ndidi can concentrate better on his defensive duty as he does at Leicester. Or Iwobi can continue playing as a LM in the 4-4-2 formation where he can momentarily drift to the middle to deliver some brilliant passes like he did against Lesotho, while you have somebody like Olise or Aribo manning the CM position.

With Kalu and Ademola Lookman in the team, Iwobi has no business going anywhere near our left wing. I would rather he pitched his tent at the CM or maintain his primary AM position if we fail to secure the services of Olise.

Some of these TV guys really don't know jack about FIFA and football rules in general. I can tell you that we have the best brains in this thread and whatever you get from some people in this thread can't be argued unlike the trash I read from some of these so called TV journalists . So, these bunch of jokes didn't know that Lukas Nmecha has had his onetime change of allegiance from England to Germany, hence, can no longer represent any other nation but Germany?

She's close to World female player of the year. She just needs to keep scoring consistently at Barca and win the Women's CL . Moreover, she needs to have a very good international season. FIFA often puts alot of emphasis international performances when selecting female player of the year.
