Happy Holidays.

I have been having a constant rough idle(RPM fluctuates on its own) on my Honda Civic 07 since the throttle body was cleaned. Will changing the throttle body fix this or are there other things I should look out for?

I have an 08 Accord with low power (sluggish). Codes pulled up are P0341 and P0135. I've changed 02 sensors, about to change the gear fluid to DW1 cos previous owner used those oils in red can.

I've bought new fuel pump and filter and serviced nozzle and throttle body as well.

Car is still sluggish and feels like using all the power to move. What should I do?

Thank you for your response.
Will a proper service fix this or I need to change the throttle body? If the later is the solution, can you help with a price estimate?

Good afternoon house,

I have an issue with my Honda Accord 2004(EOD).

When I start the car in the morning or 2 to 3hrs after driving, Engine will come on and then go off immediately.

When I start it the second time, it then comes on normally without going off again. My Mechanic has cleaned the fuel pump and still the problem

persist.

What could likely be the cause of this guys.

Pls honda gurus in the house

I am conducting a research for a friend on the which year of honda civic is best to buy.

I suggested 05 honda civic for him, but he said he needs something later than that.
So my question is that between 2006 to 2011 civic, which should he go for?

Pls advise base on your experience

MOST TIMES the issue is from the fuel pump assembly...
Replace the complete assembly.

Good morning good people.

I use 5w20 Honda engine oil for my 07 Accord but I normally top up a gallon or two sometimes before it's time for a full service.

A mechanic recommended Mobil XRP 20w50 saying the Honda oil was too thin as my engine has gotten old.

Should I swap to the Mobil?
Thoughts please.

Can some one help me with how much Honda DC compressor and condenser costs...??
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by NobleEngineer(m): 8:08am On Apr 09, 2021
pls wait for professional answers before going ahead with the oil change. my small opinion says don't do it...and I think oil shortage before next service is common. avoid the 20W50 at all cost unless otherwise professionally advised by a professional professional if u know what I mean grin

You should consider 5w30 if at all you want to change oil. 20w50 is a no no for me

Hi nairalander

My EOD 04, will suddenly slips into neutral and won't move again, although drive light is on.

It will pickup again when I put off the ignition and restart the engine. This happens at regular intervals although not that constant.

What could be wrong and what should I do

asides changing to 5w30, let you or your mechanic check for oil leaks under the hood of your car, could be one or two oil seals are bad or 17mm drain plug doesn't cap properly.
How many months do you take before servicing?

Check the distributor coil. It might be misfiring if it's damaged.
