Ponzi schemes are allover d place. CBN is pampering them d way d FG is pampering bandits

CBN doesn't. They did issue a public warning on MMM, for example, which many people openly ignored. Some even called CBN evil for warning them

And when MMM collapsed, CBN was blamed for making it collapse.

Not just CBN, SEC too has issued warnings in the past.

[quote author=FishLaps post=100449654]A Nigerian man has been left counting his losses after he was scammed by fake bank representatives.

Apparently, the scammers promised to flip his money by a large profit margin and that format was enough to convince the gullible victim into sending one hundred thousand naira to the scammers.

However, he never heard from the scammers anymore and he decided to visit the bank to ask questions.

the bank can still help to track the culprit. Access bank v lst bank. The banks are not helping matters.

Same thing we are saying. Ponzis are fraud breaking all known CBN rules. If a regular bank breaks CBN rules, will CBN just issue warning?

this wan na chronic greediness...as naija take hard reach, na acess bank wey dey cut #20 box for each alert wey person wire me naim wan give you #1m for jus 2hrs on top ur 100k??
them supposed beat the guy jhare, even betting sites wey been sure before to use double 2-3 odds no sure again, abi he think say the access representative wan use the 100k stake 10 odds??
greediness is the main reason why this scammers continue looking for new formats..
na dt online investment platforms naim de pain me pass...na so my guy ayo lose 70k for MMM, lost 30k for loom, troway 60k for chimall n now rasteli jus chop e 55k n the mumu still de say dm don promise to pay them back....
na bcoz of people like ago naim make all these scammers n ponzi still de rebrand n cash out n wetin pain me be say ayo na street boy to d blood...
I stopped advising him bcoz kizz say "if u no wise for Lagos, u no fit wise for anywhere"...
Why should they beat him because he fell for a scam, most of you people here are stack illiterate. If someone isn't enlighten about something anyone can fall for it. What protective mechanism has such bank provide for their customers in other to avoid scams.
Don't just blame people anyhow.
