Wow, cant you defer? To be realistic and with current trend, you cant meet up except with miracle, even miracle self we are talking 1 month at least. If you want to go NSE route before you book medicals and all, April is gone. And for normal route, they refer you to NSE and hold on with your application. So to meet that June 1 is almost* impossible.

Your agent may be correct in a way depending on whether you've had an existing profile with IRCC. Application fee is 150CAD and Biometrics is 85CAD. In total, you're to pay 235CAD for a first time application. Whilst, for subsequent applications you're to pay $150CAD.

It will end in praise

Thank you Boss @Frankrobbn1

$185 quoted by your agent is equivalent to 235CAD which is current the study permit application fees.

Thank you @Joyousgem, I guess the 235CAD is for the application fee and biometrics right? I am a first timer please.

Yes, as a first time applicant, you have to pay 235 canadian dollars which covers 150 application fees and 85 biometrics fees. I think your agent quoted you in US dollars, which is 185. Some agents apparently prefer to deal and quote in US dollars.

I really don’t want to defer, I’ve also paid some part of my tuition..I’ll just apply anyways and wait for a miracle to happen before 1st of June

You can defer even if you pay full tuition. The school isn't running away with your money. I deferred after paying one semester tuition of 14K CAD. But it's your choice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
