To be honest, I really wait to see what our first list for the FIFA WCQs first two matchdays will look like in two months' time. Rohr would want to reward Simy's form, I believe, but again he has a decision to make. Drop Onuachu for Simy?? Or invite Four strikers?? Ignore SADIQ Umar or Moffi for Simy?? These are the decisions he must navigate. Simy is doing really well and it must be said that his form is excellent. On the back of this form, he deserves an invite and I am one for rewarding players who show really great form most especially in the top 5 leagues. But again, I am also one who stands for bringing in players who tactically expand the quality and depth of the team. So on one hand, I agree Simy's form deserves Invite and on the other hand, I am also looking at the tactical significance of his invite. Inviting him and using him would mean Onuachu would have to take a rest and that is also another difficult decision to make considering Onuachu's recent goalscoring form for the Super Eagles. Let time tell. Until then, Simy's form deserves Celebration coz he is one of our own. Like I always say, let us bask in the depth of our attacking options. It is an awesome thing. Tinneh: |

Rorh will really struggle to put his next list together , the defense and the striking role is very stacked , rorh want try out sadiq but simmy will make that very difficult for him. |

JohnBullMySon:am gonna be giving you an outside source now https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=39457 in rohr last interview he made it clear we won't be seeing new faces in the squad and concerning the 6 players to be invited...surely they will be but some of them are having tough times in their respective clubs the like of ehzibue, torunarigha it not gonna be easy for a player with club issues to break into the squad. http://adantesports.com.ng/2021/01/16/eagles-versus-benin-republic-lesotho-featuring-new-faces-doubtful-says-rohr/ The Franco-German football tactician said that in as much as there is enough time to scout for the players and invite the best and the eligible ones but it is still very important to see them in test matches like International friendlies for them to blend well with the rest players already in the team. He said that was how he gave the others that joined the team the trial matches which they passed. Players that joined not long ago included FC Porto of Portugal’s left back Zaidu Sanusi and Kevin Akpoguma of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim of Germany who were tested in the October 9, 2020 and October 13 international friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia respectively. if you've noticed rohr from his time in the eagles you would have noticed the fact he gives new players chances on friendly games most times and dead rubber games like the dead rubber against Algeria in the last WCQ and the last one we had against Lesotho which he was willing to give both Sadiq and olise their chance but couldn't due to passport and club not releasing him but WCQ is another tournament itself which sane coach will risk a player that hasn't play a game or hasn't been with team to play in such crucial tournament even when ebuehi just switched he was on bench throughout the whole tournament he only had his chance in friendly that was just the point I was trying to raise i hope you understand..friedden that's why i made the assertion expect they are on RED HOT form and they can't be ignored you know we have some crazy player that onuachu in as much a coach won't like to him he will always find his way to the team due to his crazy form so the likes of awoniyi, possibly Umar, yinka, Maja , moffi will all be given their chances in a game we have got nothing to lose. OR injury from a player if a midfielder like iwobi is injured then we have no choice to lose into olise ways cos he has been scouted for a while now and we could actually deduce where he can fit in but for injury or red hot form of a player it will be very hard to see this news faces sir. |

smartsmith0907:all this one na excuse are you telling me now that akpoguma perform very well against Algeria and Tunisia that why he call him up and start him against Sierra Leone? did Rohr give Jamilu Collins a dead rubber match before we saw what he can do? make unah cap any player that is good for super Eagle we currently need competition in that Aribo/iwobi department I think our defense, forward is okay for now, even Goalkeeper department is Secured we need DM, CM, AM |

Alfryd:Are you telling me he performed worse common We all know we need DM, CM, AM the likes of Samson tijani, mikel agu, esiti, onyeka has been called up in the past .....but yet they could fill the spot but the names I mentioned were all called up in friendly we are gonna have new faces so might even be as a shocker but having new faces in a crucial tournament like this is not advisable. |

TheSuperNerd:to me its an easy decision because he can invite 4 strikers due to the fact that our most inform players are strikers and especially as Rohr always invite 11 defenders |

Simmy is the best Nigerian striker(in a single season) ever to play in the Serie A, even ahead of the likes of Obafemi Martins. This is crazy |

I have asked him to put pride aside and come HK in GH, just to support his life, he is still there forming boss. That guy is not even as mechanic, vulcanizer or even bricklayer, he is nothing, doing nothing. |
