If you really follow the pages on this thread, you'll find out that a collection slip is given after one is done with capturing.

When they gave you the note, you could have asked them the reason why you're not getting a printed document (collection slip)?

By asking, you'll get to know why they gave you the piece of paper with your enrollment number on it.

If you use DIY method, how then will you know your date of collection since you don't have a collection slip?

So my advice to you is that you should go and find out why you weren't issued a collection slip. Before then, you can also try to check if your passport is ready.

Please I lost my expired passport. But I have a copy of the data page. Can I use the copy I have to renew it? Or do I have to go and swear affidavit and do police report before I renew it.

I don't know the reason, but when I did my capturing at ikoyi, everyone in the capturing room have his/her enrollment � written on a paper.

You are right I did mine at ikoyi on 31st and i got only enrollment number With my surname and my initials written on it

LOL, it's finally coming through. I think 32 pages passport is now abundantly available but I know in no distant future, scarcity will set in, so maybe people should port to 32 as quickly as possible. 64 don dey scarce again.

Yes, I believe that was because at some point people started demanding for 64 more because of scarcity of 32 pages and now there is enough 32 to go around. while I was applying online for my passport in March , I had this in mind and decided to go for 32 pages after all, all die na die. plus I no even get extra 10k to spare for 64 pages. It's exciting that I became part of the lucky 32 pages, March applicants.

Which officer or who do someone meet with to check the status of one's passport at any NIS office. It getting frustrating,i captured since February 16 up till now,nothing

There should be a collection room. If you go early enough, there will be an announcement for those who have come for collection to turn in their collection slip but if you come later, you can just meet any officer in sight that you have come for collection and I believe they will direct you to the right room. By the way, what office did you capture at?

Just picked my Passport at Alausa. Was supposed to have gotten it since Feb 8, but they've been saying no booklet. It's DIY. Thanks to everyone that has been contributing to this thread.

Just collected mine at Alausa, 10yrs 64 pages DIY of course.
