I spend at least 5 hours per day

Can't even go more than 50mins at a go.
The best part of coding for me is when I'm not coding but thinking about some lame shit I previously coded.

I stare at my laptop screen for an average of 4 hours per day. I'm sure it'll increase as I continue to learn daily until I get to the level of senior developer.

pls some should help me cos I'm confused.... which aspect of programming can I go? and how lucrative is it in terms of job

Like today I haven't coded since because no light

In my area we have no light but I have the opportunity of staying in one filling station near our house due to the cordial relationship I have with manager of the station..
I went indoor to code for 10hours per day
A programmer must ready to code for hours

4-5hrs per day is like the ideal coding time, productivity begins to drop after 5hrs ( so i read)

You should go for what you find fun, what you are most interested in.

Is there electricity? Have I eaten? Am I in the right frame of mind? Is there something else important and urgent that needs my attention?

I'd say 4 hrs non stop or 8 hrs with breaks.

Nice, but long coding time doesn't equate to better productivity, infact your productivity declines the longer time you spend on your laptop.

True Sha,but you still need that effort to reach that level where more income will result in more productivity hence less time spent on sufferness.

I spend 12hrs daily learning how to code. buh i advise, don't just learn, build sth. A developer is more like a problem solver. Give urself a task, try to solve some problems with codes. Who knows you might build sth unique. I just took up this task.

I sleep 4 hours a day on an average , Interswitch messed up sleeping habit but there are days I crash more. A day not a week. Its because I'm trying to run a company. E no easy

However I don't code 18hrs a day everyday but I have definitely coded all day because of deadlines and money

Even though I'm still a newbie. Anytime there is light I'm coding. And if there is no light, I'm still coding with my phone or browsing Github.
And if there is no phone, i'm still thinking about my codes.
I'm not based on one language. I code anything and everything I want.

Although it's affecting me - I forget food and sleep late too.
