Even the area where I come from, people still bear Cross River names and even in some areas one might not know when you are in Cross Rivers or Akwa-Ibom because they all share the same culture and even the Cross Rivers accent influences the spoken Igbo.... They all dance Ekpe and do the same Oro. In fact, the old men will give you a hard knock if one makes any silly jokes people do against Calabar people.... It is harder to imagine hate from that side.

What is the difference between Anang, Ibibio, Ibeno, Oron and Obolo. Every village wants to be an ethnic group... Most of you do not even know that you have brothers in these states because you can seem to put away your differences.

Mr man there's no Ijaw in Rivers state man. Those tribes you mentioned identify and wants to be identified with their various tribes. A bonny man is a bonny man not Ijaw man, Okrika man is an Okrika man not Ijaw, A kalabari man is a Kalabari man not Ijaw man etc. When an Okrika man speaks a Kalabari man cannot hear him and vice versa, Same with Bonny, Andoni etc. They are all distinct tribes and languages, I've worked in Rivers state for some time to discover this.

Okrika, Kalabari, Bonny, Opobo, Andoni etc are all distinct minority tribes in the Niger Delta same with Ijaw. Ur expansionist agenda should better end in Bayelsa state.[/s]

Okrika ,Kalabari Bonny, Opobo are all clans not tribe. And they fall under the ijaw tribe.

Okrika is distinct, Bonny and Opobo belongs to the Ibani tribe while Kalabari hailed from calabar (Nicknamed the new Calabar). They're all on same level with Ijaw, all Southern Minorities.
