For God's sake we shouldn't have someone like Tinubu or those old crooks as presidentual candidates in this era. They are part of the reasons we are here today as a nation, that was how Buhari was repacked for Nigerians and now look at the untold suffering amidst heavy corruption we are facing right now.

I concor with you but as the thing take be now who will go present 60 percent of our youth are drug addict, ... 80 percent are fraudster, 40...kidnapper so where should we turn to

Any short of Southeast producing the next President in 2023, will spell doom for this nation. Tinubu is not even. An option, he's thirst for power will round this nation . We see how he changes Lagos state Governors like his changing clothes. He insatiable love for corruption is scary , such an individual should not allowed an inch to our nation's treasury.

people from the west think Tinubu is popular. He is not popular at all. He lacks the national popularity to command votes from the NORTH CENTRAL. I still believe PDP will go with Atiku and Wike. No other person has the popularity or influence Atiku commands. The problem with other politicians is, they just sit in their state or Abj and ear money. When the time for election is at hand they start shouting 'I must be president' . You plan such moves years ahead. Atiku is married to an Igbo, Yoruba and a Hausa woman. He attends weddings and ceremonies in almost all the states. He knows what he wants and he plans ahead. Now tell me which other politician commands such popularity from the west? PDP will be very happy if Tinubu is their presidential flag bearer if he goes against Atiku.

Since 1999 till date the North has never supported a Southerner in an election a Northerner contested. There was nothing strategic in his move. In 2023 the North will turn her back on Tinubu.

2023 is not 1999 when there was a consensus amongst the Northern elite that a Yoruba should be president.

If Tinubu wants to remain relevant he has to support a credible candidate from the South East, Niger Delta or Middle belt.

So supporting a candidate from SE will now make Tinubu relevant and will also make the north support SE? How do you guy reason like this? Are you sure u know what you are saying?

I still don’t get it how Tinubu will become a president being a Muslim

Knowing that if his vice will be from the north he also has to be a Muslim

So are we going to have a Muslim president and a Muslim Vice President

Islamization warming up
That's the major challenge facing Tinubu. South prefer Christian President and North Muslem VP.

If PDP had presented kwankwaso in 2019 it would have been an easy election to win

2023 just don't put your house together honestly

Preferably ...stick an igbo man upthere ...with a strong northern vice

If they can get 45% in north east and even 30% in north west it's game over for APC

Tinubu will neva be president. Nobody hands power over to a powerful man. Tinubu is too powerful , intelligent and wealthy for the north to cede power to. If the north will hand power to a southerner, it will be someone they can control and threaten. Someone like tinubu cannot be controlled or threatend.
Even tinubu himself will neva hand power to a powerful man in Lagos. Dats why all the governors are people beholden to him.
Also, given the power struggle in the apc, i doubt his enemies will want him to be president because that will be their end. Forgot all the talk of buhari support, their is no buhari support coming from anywhere. Even tinubu knows their is no buhari support.
Lastly, apc can decide to exclude the south west and north west from contesting on grounds that both have produced both the president and vice president and its time to give room to others to produce the pres and vice president

A Tinubu presidency would cause a lot of uncontrollable parallel Governance in Nigeria.. the security outfits would be too weak to checkmate it.. honestly it would not augur well for Nigeria at all. Due to the mayhem, the Tinubu presidency may be highjacked militarily which would cause issues in the SW, the democracy of Nigeria itself and the already raging issues in the SE then. The spate of unemployment and hunger would be so terrible banditry and kidnapping would be the main occupation up North due to overstretch of the security outfits. The only safe zone may be the SS.

It may be an entire collapse of everything.. (let us pray against it).

The sit of the president is not reward for friendship or political support or else obasanjo wud have made Atiku President after him instead of yaradua. U guys cannot blackmail Buhari with that nonsense.

It is about what or who is best for the country. What Nigeria needs is an Igbo President or at worst a better, younger and more competent president.

Obviously you have allowed the media to take over your mind. Just a quick reminder, bad news sell and they're feeding you back to back.
They know they have you on their palms. While you are playing prophet of doom here, some people are taking more strategic positions in the economy. In life it's what you focus on that expands. It's bumper to bumper traffic here in Lagos and every one with job facing their daily busy lives and contributing to nation building, you are here online wishing their labour will end up in smokes or be stolen by your co-travellers of lazy criminal minded unpatriotic elements ? You have failed sir.

Some of these monarchs really don't have anything called brain.

When did Tinubu started supporting Buhari that it will be the turn of Buhari to reciprocate.

Rubbish.

Tinubu is old and don't have what it takes to move this country to the promised land.

Enof of all these campaigns for the old man to be president.

We have young and great minds with innovative ways of doing this who can really do well.

Now let us reason this together. OBJ was there for 8yrs, GEJ was there for 6yrs,it is the turn of the Igbo's. This is one area the North has continue to exploit against the South. Must the Presidency come from the Southwest? Let me say this, the disunity of the South is more important to the North than the unity of Nigeria. That is why they created the southern zones in a way that will reflect the homogeneity of the the tribes therein. The implication is that there shall never be any accord amongst the Southerners .The Northwest had produced more Leaders from the Northern region yet, no grumbling from other Northern zones. Because Southerners are more educated and sophisticated, rotation of presidency among the zones means fairness and equity.
The politicians from the East should stand up and be well coordinated, this is the time to test the unity of Nigeria upon the doctrine of equity and fairness.

Seconded. I wish they can grow some balls.
