Most people would go for tiles! We did a Laminate Flooring job for a Client 2years ago.



Laminate flooring is similar to luxury vinyl tile in its look and method of installation. The critical difference is that its core is made from wood byproducts bonded with resins. The top surface is a hard, transparent plastic wear layer that covers the printed design layer.

Let's say vinyl is a better choice when you need water resistance, lifespan and durability in your flooring. Meanwhile laminate is preferable if you want a more stylish appearance lower costs and a comfortable feel underfoot, Although both have their pros & cons & they are so similar in some aspects.

To be honest Sir, you've just said the truth about the durability & originality of this floor & I sincerely agree with you. I could remember vividly the Landlord of that house 'educated us (My self & the client) for about an 1hr telling us history & how durable & long lasting the Terrazzo Floor was.

But just like you know "they don't make it standard like before" . It's better to go modern in terms of Aesthetics. The Terrazzo Floor doesn't really beautify your home. :My Opinion tho:

Both are good but they serve different purposes. If you’re like me who don’t have time to do lawn, I’d advice you stay with artificial grass.

It’s not easy maintaining a lawn. Not cheap either.

I know that “Some like it in the pot three days old” but you should reconsider using artificial grass. If you’re going to do grass it’s actually easy to do the real one.

I also believe majority of peeps fall in this category too. We stay on the sidelines digesting every info at our disposal, and make an informed decision on who to patronize or engage as it were.

When i am looking for a solution to my building challenges, i run to this thread for a way out, i have contacted some contractors here even when i have capable hands in my domain, but the way and manner they present their craft, selflessly and always ready to help has made me reach out to them to form a synergy, asides those that their prices are for the deep pockets.

For those that are fond of always saying , talk to me/meet me on WhatsApp, please understand that you're likely telling one person to patronize you as against several hundreds or even thousands that read this thread regularly. what you fail to see is the information you want to give to just one person could benefit a wider audience if it were shared here, and believe me you, the possibilities are endless.

Wow, who ever thought somebody could cut corners on the height of blocks. Nigerians I hail, we always pay attention to the strength of the blocks not the height and width. Another eye opening, take it or leave it, this exposure of different kinds of tricks to cheat, we'll make you have more enemies than friends. You are not prefect as we are not as well. People make mistakes in life and correct themselves to be better in there dealings. One thing that amazed me, if an induvial devoted their time to dig somebodies past and make it a duty. I wouldn't understand how that person have time for their own life. Like Dunka said, we are all mature people. People can take time to do their diligent on any contractor here before they make there decisions and who they choose to award their contract to. Even with all this spamming, the guy still excelling in getting contracts and continue to exhibit is knowledge and moving up in life. Can't we just let go. Enough is enough, this page is created to help qualify professionals to exhibit their knowledge at the same time as attracting potential customers.

Reliable source have it that Lafarge Ewekoro plant is doing routine maintenance and only Lafarge Sagamu plant is operating at the moment. Even the Eastern plant is not operating.
So production is happening in sagamu but there are too many bookings from other parts of the country that those who even booked for 20 trailers hardly get 10.

This explains the increase in the price of cement. Cement price from the manufacturers remains ‘K’ The problems is coming from the distribution network and not from the manufacturers.
