Yes but only if the it has a minimum of 13hp engine. You should rather get at least a 9 to 10kva Gen to comfortably power your 7hp equipment....

Yes it's being powered by a 13hp engine. Thanks
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by leadknight123(m): 6:38pm On Apr 06, 2021
Gptech:

The type of equipment matters, equipment with pumps and compressors normally need around 3 times their rated power to start, if that's the case here you'll need a gen of around 16kva.

Wow!! I actually would power 3hp compressor. I think 7.5kva should do. Thanks

I don't understand. A gen with original coil, I should throw it away? I don't mind buying a new gen and swapping the coil. What I'm after is the coil. not the body or the engine. You can educate me incase I'm missing something. I also thought I read some pages back to just buy the engine(I guess the gen without the coil part is called half engine, don't know though) if the engine is the only issue
original half engine is 60-70% the original price of the same generator. 16 years means the generator have served it purposes and you should consider buying a new generator.

forget about the coil. many technician have coils loads in thier shops from abandon gens or the once they buy cheeply. don't ever make the costly mistake to buy fake or cheap held engine they normally packed up few months.

I have always wondered what the 'A' in the first picture stands for. What quickly comes to mind is current, but I really doubt that.
The last picture indicates the voltage supply.
Thank you sir, how about the second to the last picture.

That's the total time 'in hours' you have used the generator. Use it for like 2 hours, you'll see the number will increase by 2. This is where to look at when calculating when to change oil.

First check for the power of the pumping machine, it's usually in Hp ( horse power) *

You need to service the gen. I believe this is I pass my neighbour, doesn't come with AVR that's why the bulb is blinking.

Buy the Thermocool then, at least you will be rest assured you bought the original. As for fuel comsumption on TEC bobo 2.5kva, 3litre of fuel runs for 5 to 6hrs depending on the loading it carries. Don't know that of Sumec fireman, users can help us with this info...

Has anyone used this type of generator in Nigeria? Cos I'm planning to get this as backup generator..... Due to its super quietness and clean energy output compared to our normal conventional generator

I'm getting it on eBay and shipping it via Heroshe (If this type of generator is in Lagos, I would appreciate the dealer's contact and address at least it will save me some cost)
