Nigeria is a very weird country... How can the army of a country and her citizens be at loggerheads with each other.. I don't just understand Nigeria at all. Police is so corrupt it can not settle internal strives and issues... The army is so violent that it will do worse... Must they use force?? Is there nothing like psychology in their curriculum?? Such a shame! Very shameful thing. They were killed by the people they are supposed to protect and I know they must have done worse and will not stop now!

They should publish the names of these soldiers killed.... I can bet my monthly salary say they are all Christian soldiers.

What do you expect when the Army started bombing and conducting airstrikes killing their people instead of investigation and prisoners swap.
The Army has already concluded on sacrificing those soldiers to create an avenue and a reason to carry out the threats from Miyetti Allah on pacifying Benue and assassinating Gov Ortom

If the rate at which the NA are shooting in Benue, they can do same in the Sambisa Forest against the Northern Sponsored Boko Haram and Miyetti Allah/Fulani terror in the South, MANY INVESTORS would have been here to create jobs. But the Army are powerful where civilians are while they behave like bingo when Boko Haram strikes.

The army should eliminate whoever constitutes the criminal elements. But, where is this same energy when bandits wipe out top NDA talent in the bush?

The same Benue ppl who have been slaughtered by herders for years without any serious response, shld not be used for a show of force. The criminals should be separated and handled. Also, if the army can be this diligent, then it should do the same for beleaguered farmer communities across the North Central.

The army doesn't realize it yet, but the decimation of its personnel by BH and now bandits has killed the mystique that surrounded them pre-2006.

Soldiers are doing the work of police, police dont have work but to go around harassing and collecting money. The real war is going on in some state yet soldiers are targeting civilian instead of terrorist. Misplaced priority everywhere. Since every one wants to be mad in this country its ok. The battle has just began. Since soldiers dont know the people they should be going after, the people they are surpose to protect have turned against them.
