Who's this guy! You could be a marketer for Denel or any of the failing Southie businesses or perhaps your evidently pained slight is to help you sleep at night. Chad is not the only country buying equipment from Nigeria and don't need to do that to get closer to Nigeria, heck it and most surrounding countries of Nigeria are de facto extensions of Abuja's policies. And if your narrative were to be true that fits just exactly. Your pain is your problem and would only get worse if you don't get in line with new realities.
Your contraptions are killing your soldiers Oga... I don't care about Denel leave equipment manufacturing for private investors... At least their employees are well selected not by quota system or ethnic bigotry.

And one more thing, Fck you Augustine for thinking you can hide behind a stupid moniker to comment like a sane person here.

Chad bought your MRAPs, Chad will buy dog poo if they think it will bring them closer to Nigeria. To the bolded? Your knowledge is very limited...
Chad that has mig-29 su25 frogfoot buys dog poo?. at least you now know Chad bought Nigerian made MRAPs.

Citation is needed for that "contraption..." nonsense you wrote. Btw I guess equipment made by your white masters killing people before upgrades to make them more adequate is also in your warped minded list. For a country of 200 million people and multi-ethnic society to even come up with a workable even if imperfectly practiced Federal Character system that seeks to address the challenges of such a giant country is pure genius. And Nigeria is still here.

Besides you forget that apart from DICON a government owned entity most of the other equipments are built by private 100% wholly owned indigenous Nigerian companies.

You see you have no intellectual discourse to off instead you'd rather descend to obscenities for which I'm not cut out, evidently I'm better than that as you have insinuated yourself. Apparently your imaginary Augustine must have done something to your head else you wouldn't seek the easy way out to scamper for safety by bringing in a third party as an excuse to bail.

By the way I might be able to offer you some pain killer.s which you obviously need. Just ask.

Our military planners love to waste money, it's sad and unfortunate.

Nigerian army have bought nearly 10 different types of MRAPs.

Shameful.

Please emphasize.
Aradu can't shoot a missle now because of its obsolete systems or it just can't shoot missles

Then they should stick to one or two companies outside for mraps not jumping from one to another

Demand is very high in the field and just 2 companies can't meet up.

Big foot seems to have performed well and really getting huge order.

Aradu used to be a world class frigate, but not anymore. All it's missile systems are obsolete and inoperable.

It's mechanical systems are bad, due to leakage hence the extensive work which was recently done at the Naval Dockyard.

Nigeria does not currently have a missile capable ship, we need to return our missile capability but I don't see that happening right now.

We can do with 2 more OPVs and at least 3 missile boats.

Your demand can't be very high if you only buy 10 units.

Let me remind you, Chad bought 100 units.

We have no proof to suggest NA has bought additional MRAPs from China.

3 frigates and 2 or three corvettes all missile capable ..
I strongly suggest we reverse engineer the aradu..
It can't just go to waste like that

Aradu isn't going to waste, it would be repurposed as an OPVs, however we don't know when.

For me I think we Nigeria needs 1 Frigate, 2 Corvettes and 6 missile boats (60 meters).

Aradu turn to an OPV..
How the mighty have fallen..
I doubt 2 billion dollars will get us anywhere close Morocco navy or south Africa we really lack alot..
A substantial investment of close to 6 billion usd will kick start the navy

Even if proforce and any other indigenous capable company don't have the capacity now, PLACING A FIRM ORDER for say, 300 MRAPs to be delivered say, within 18 months will make them expand their production capacity to meet the order. Even if it means outsourcing certain aspects of production.

No serious company would get that kind of FIRM order, backed by money and tell you they can't meet up.

This NA purchase of foreign MRAPS in units of 10s makes no sense at all except like mentioned earlier, its easier to 'chop money' when its from abroad.

Kabe1 would you prefer the NN getting some meko 360 instead of frigates..
Note. In my opinion the meko 360 is closer to destroyer that's why I didn't call it a frigate..
My opinion

over 60 pieces mrap were ordered by the military in November 2020, . this is the first ten (10) of delivery of the mrap. some with come from china this month. proforce have a ordered of over 100mrap which they have not delivered 50% of that mrap, they you expect the nigeria military which are in urgent need of mrap in the war in northeast to wait for proforce? dicon delivered 20 mrap to nigeria army last month

Shameful.

It is for quick delivery and also when the required numbers are large. If I want to but 200 small cars in one week, it is only possible if I talk to more than one manufacturer .

It's corruption, it's easier to quote figures for foreign products and skim off the surface than to quote it in naira and buy it from an easily verifiable source. The system is rotten.
