My own was when I sat in front of female soldiers inside a luxurious night bus.

Because they are soldiers, the back seat was closed so that they were sitting at the very end.

You know soldiers prefer the back seat in a luxurious bus.

The fair soldier started saying she needed banana.

She said it several times.

She asked me if I could give her banana.

I could not decipher if she meant real banana or the other banana.

As a soldier,it could be dangerous to assume she needed the other banana,if that is not what she meant.

She told me several times that she needed banana.

I wanted to buy her banana by the road side but she just laughed and said I should not.

She told other female soldiers around that I am a well behaved somebody.

So from Aba to Kano,I was not at ease, not knowing what to expect and fearing that she might think I am shunning her,if she actually meant the other banana, without me accepting to give it to her.

But I am very disciplined and cannot easily fall into sexual immorality, even if she had clearly told me she wanted sex.

But I really liked her after I heard her telling a story of how she and some female soldiers were sent to a location to guide.

She said she gathered all the females in the location and asked them to lie down on the ground while she spared only the males.

She said that she and the other female soldiers later "broke the legs" of all the women as they laid on the ground.

She said she did so to show the females there that she was better than them.

She said most men in that location fell in love with her and the other female soldiers after seeing their (the female soldiers) superiority over their women.

She said some males there left their fiancee and got engaged to the female soldiers which has resulted in about 10 of the female soldiers marrying from that location.

She said one truth which I read before in a psychological book: Some men will leave their fiancee for a woman who is able to overpower and subdue their fiancee.

If she had asked me to marry her after saying this,I would have accepted immediately.

Because from all her statements,I was able to see that she respect males unlike most women who see men as objects of disrespect and insult.

I was btutalized in front of our family house long ago when this osisikannwu matter dey reign for Aba.i was still somehow younger then helping my aunt sale recharge card at her small shop just infant of the house .when some soldiers in white hilux dose hilux that are usually used as escort where passing our street.when i looked at the hilux and i noticed my eye and one man eye just met at same angle and i was still looking while he was looking at me too and the vehicle was still moving .when they moved away from me to see them i do not know that they stopped the card and was running toward me.i was so terrified.i was pinned down the only thing i wanted to do that moment is to vanish or enter the ground .finally they are close to me one of them start beating me the other flogging me with koboko.i was not feeling any pain all i was thinking about is God have mercy on me for them to leave me alone .i was begging and shouting but not for the pain. The whole street was full with aba na anya people .they were saying i am a criminal i am a member of that osisikankwu.i was begging that i am not my aunt even came and was begging but they were still flogging me the koboko,one of them answered a call and then tell the others to take to the hilux at that point i told myself that i am finished .they were dragging me and i resist and begging .my aunty was on the ground holding my legs too so that they will not take me .when they saw that my aunty was seriously in pain they told me to remove my short nika. And it was military type like those design but color was blue. My dad then sale okirika so it is from there he gave me the short they took the short away and left .after everything calmed they passed my street again same day evening and they called me to the hilux while i stood one of them was holding my short in his hand .he then gave it back to me and asked me not to wear it again that i should keep my report card safe that i should not be carrying it around.that day we just closed school and i went to bring back my report card that's why it was in my pocket and they drove off .my aunt took the short from me and burnt it .since that day if i see soldier i never allow us to have same eye angles and i also do give advise to people wearing soldier uniform telling them my story that if they are not soldier it is not good or safe to wear them was my experience interesting ?

mine was when I was in Niger state doing business, there is this popular bar and as an artist and DJ I signed a deal with the owner of the bar to organize shows every Sundays, fast forward to 2019 when bandits started operating around that side and soldiers were deployed.

it was Sunday as usual I was having my show and soldiers were present everywhere, civilians were few in the show, my only crime to deserve the beating of my life was to invite my 16 year old dancer on stage.

After the performance the owner of the bar drew my attention the a particular soldier guy has queried him about me bringing the boy on stage and I was what the f..k who is he to tell me what to do on my show. before I could say jack the guy was behind me as though I slept with his wife.

thanks to God the commander was there and saw all the the brutality, he paid for damages because I was a member of amnesty international and with the help of my two siblings in army, I have to leave that place for my dear life.

I was alone in the backseat of the cab,I was just busy with my phones not paying attention to what the Driver was doing...Not knowing to by cut the Hold up before the Rumuokoro roundabout the driver took one-way...And was on High Speed,Mind you I was still concentrating on my phone when the taxi stopped and I heard the driver telling some people"I carry Officer ohh,Na Officer dey Back"at that point I looked up and saw two soldiers looking at me closely from the window...I really, Didn't know what else to do but to Bone and look at them in the eyes...They stared and told the Driver to go....That was when I looked at himself saw I was still wearing the camo shorts and Cap I normally wear at home...I immediately,Slap the driver for head,the man shout"Oga,Wetin?!" I say,me and you talk before I tell you say I be Officer?!E say no but Oga you look like Officer with Wetin you dey wear...I tell am to shut up,say na God Save am say those soldiers no just reason us...Say next time communicate and Ask before you jump into Bloody conclusions.

I am like sir I have been trying to flush it in the toilet but it keep appearing in my pocket magically. He says I should do it let him see.. It's not spirit of fear guy, although I have to mention that the average westerner is known to avoid death at all cost, even if their dignity is taken from them.

But the thing is that in the North, most families have one or two members in the military or police or DSS as senior officers. The recruits know this and try to avoid getting into trouble with them superiors.

Also, the average northerner, like the easterner, is willing to die for his right and will not accept being stripped of his human dignity.

Nigerian armed forces is still essentially a northern establishment,and most times you find out that those doing that nonsense in the south are northerners especially the muslims among them,due to tribalism and religious extremism.
Abi it is fear makes them raze whole villages whenever their colleagues is killed in the south or Christian states in the north but do nothing in borno, yobe etc where they are killed like flies?

2007, the governor then, sir celestine omehia declared dusk to dawn curfew, and invited strange soldiers from god knows where. If you see their height and black skin and padlock they used in locking their mouths eh? I just dey return from one movement one fine saturday afternoon when i reach second artillary junction i forget say everyman dey hands up. as i wan pass, i hear, 'hey, oboy stop right there.' i turn to see if na me dem dey talk to na so i hear correct sound for my face, gboa, dem brush me with dia boot march me wella, come drag me go face down for one stagnant dirty water by the road. If i raised my head to breath i go hear big stick for the back of my head. For 30minutes i dey breath dirty water until dem say make i disappear from there, i only hear wetin dem talk but i no fit move until one of them use boot push me i turn face up, na so blood dey ooze from my eyes, nose ears and mouth. Dem come carry put inside their van come give me one kind drug like that come drive me reach house.

Very sad experience indeed! Thanks to social media, we can report them now and they can actually be dealt with. Very wicked set of people

It was 2017 at NYSC camp.
I was one of the guys participating in sprinting for my group even though I hadn't had a lot of opportunity for practice over the past couple of years. So, I decided to go for a run around 4am, on the sports field.
I Was dressed in my whites but didn't carry my tag cos I didn't want to lose it.

On getting to there, I started by jogging to the other end of the field, which was where I was stopped by a soldier. He asked me who I was and what I was doing. I stated my purpose and he asked me to carry on. About 5 or 10 minutes later, whilst I was going round the field, another soldier called out to me and shone his light into my eyes.
At this point I was already breathing a little fast from running and the light disoriented me a little bit in addition to reflexively making me quite irritated.
He met me in the middle of the field where I'd stopped and commenced his interrogation.

'Who are you? What are you doing? Which platoon are you in?'
I answered his questions whilst standing with my hand on my hips to sort of brace myself and with several short pauses to catch my breath.
I added that I'd met a colleague of his earlier who had permitted me to be there.

He must have repeated the same questions 3 or 4 times and I kept giving him the same answers in what I imagined was a calm voice. Although, knowing how passively arrogant I can be and how irritated I was that he still had his light in my eyes 3 minutes or so into his traffic stop I was probably coming off as rude.

The next order he gave was for me to sit down which I found ridiculous but I slowly obeyed by bending down in such a way as to avoid getting dirt on my white clothes; the last thing I needed was to have to spend God knows how long getting them clean again, I thought. The same questions kept coming until I started to think I was the crazy one. He kept rejecting the idea that I'd met one of his officers and I think he asked me who it was; a question which was obviously absurd seeing as we didn't stop to exchange numbers.

I repeatedly suggested that he ask the officer who obviously couldn't be far and we kept going in circles. I'm not sure what finally tipped him over: perhaps it was cos I wasn't as overwhelmed with fear and respect as I should have been but in a flash he kicked me in the face and back then forced me to sit on my buttocks.

I'm a person who approaches things logically and the problem had very simple potential solutions, in my mind, yet there I was sitting in the sand at the mercy of a mad man who was now threatening to shoot me because I was an impostor who had sneaked in from outside to steal stuff.

My fear hormones had flooded my system at this point and my voice was tremulous; the insanity of the situation brought me close to tears. Eventually the first officer joined us and Mr Mad Max berated him for allowing an impostor to infiltrate the camp. Honestly, I feel like the guy thought I was a spy who was sent to assassinate the Fuhrer and his wit had saved the republic.

Having gotten the other officer to somewhat corroborate my story, we were at an impasse... Sort of. Ofcos he couldn't admit he'd gone too far so he just kept going with the threats. He was going to take me to the camp director and he was going to do this and that. 'Who are you? What's your purpose?' The questions kept coming.

Finally, I told him I was a doctor and we could go to the clinic right then to confirm it, with as much plea as I could muster. That was when I learned an important lesson about ranks and statuses. It was like magic! I didn't even need to confirm it. Suddenly, this person addressed me like a human being rather than a more humanlike form of E. T. I think he was also a bit relieved that he finally had a good reason to let go of the inedible fish that had wandered onto his dinner plate. He smiled a little then said something about being careful which I didn't understand cos I was too everything.

I sustained a cut to my lip but I didn't tell anyone in the clinic how I really got it. I think I went with the cliche "tripped and fell" line. I just got my tetanus shot and fortunately didn't get PTSD from the encounter.

I just sight one black corolla for my back dey blow horn make I for shift, knowing fully well it was one way road and I cant easy overtake the hilux like that. Naso I remain adamant with my top speed and he was also pursue me to overtake. When the road became double lane, I reduced my speed to allow the corolla pass, the car was wined up and also tinted, pass me the car refused to pass, he just maintain same side lane with me. I just blew horn for am and increase my speed he also follow me and when he go to me this time, he wined down and do me waka with his hand na so I shout mad man with my hand doing waka at same time to him only to discover say na four army men and the driver na three star.
I immediately withdraw my hand, wind up and start my fast and furious race, the corolla start dey pursue me like never before. Thank God say na Big daddy v6 I carry . Till I get to suleja I didn't apply break. Both the hilux and the corolla dey still dey pursue me. Na so I enter suleja town and lose them.
